3-Star Hotels in Nara City

An absolute 10/10 stay in Nara City! Yamatonoyado KITAKYOBATE is a beautiful, 2-story property that is kept incredibly clean. The layout is perfect for families or groups, giving everyone plenty of room to relax. I was blown away by the number of amenities provided right in the room—they have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay comfortable. The location in kitakyobate-cho is peaceful yet convenient. Checking in was seamless, and the overall experience was flawless. Will definitely book this place again on my next trip to Japan!

Nice Japanese style experience. The room was really nice and big size, very traditional. The breakfast was good but I was expected more, but at the end it was ok. The owner was kind but seemed a bit stressed about visitors. I recommend to visit Hotobit but if you don’t have lot of luggage’s to carry because is a bit far away from the city center by walk also from any restaurant. The good think is that is a 5 minutes by walk far from the bus stop.

The location is excellent, convenient for visiting nearby attractions. It's near a shopping street, but shops in Nara close early, so it's not noisy. It's great value for money; the room is very spacious for this price, and it includes a sofa, coffee table, and clothes rack. The bed is also large and comfortable, although you have to climb a ladder to get to it. There's a shared kitchen and a free washing machine on the first floor. The only thing to note is that there's no elevator and the stairs are narrow. If you have a lot of heavy luggage, I wouldn't recommend booking a room on the second floor. Also, check-out time is before 10 AM, which is a bit too early, as nothing in the vicinity is open yet.

My trip to Japan was so enjoyable largely because of this hotel! I was initially worried about the two Superhotels, but this one was fantastic! It's right across from the JR station, and the staff at the front desk all speak Chinese, and I heard they also speak Korean, Japanese, and English—amazing! Communication was completely seamless. During check-in, they explained everything in detail, including pillows, pajamas, combs, shampoo, and more! The breakfast was delicious and very Japanese, and I noticed many Japanese people choose to stay here, which was really great. Nara Park is also within walking distance. Overall, I had a wonderful time. I've already recommended it to everyone I know, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Kansai—it's even cheaper than others! The rooms are small, but that seems to be a common problem with Japanese hotels.

This was one of my favorit stays in Japan , this place had gread value for money. Location was great close to shopping street pond and park. There was space to eat food and they provides all usual free stuff. Access through codes ,loved not having to carry any cards keys etc.

Absolutely blown away by this hotel! The design is stunning, and the views are just incredible – you can see deer, cherry blossoms, Mount Wakakusa, and the lake all from here. It's perfectly situated right in the scenic area. The room was huge, and the service was impeccable; they granted every request. Nara is definitely a place worth staying and savoring slowly.

Located a 6-8 minute walk from Nara Station, the hotel is right on a main street. It's surrounded by plenty of shops, making it incredibly convenient for both shopping and dining. Todai-ji Temple and Kofuku-ji Temple are also easily accessible. The place was clean, the front desk staff were very friendly, and they offered luggage storage before check-in. Overall, we had a very satisfactory stay.

The location of this hotel is amazing. It's within 15 minutes walk from Nara Park as well as several streets full of shops and restaurants. It's also only 5 minutes from the nara-kinetetsu station. The staff were incredibly friendly and the coffee shop is a nice place to sit. The only real negative was the fact that they use very tiny pillows - but they gave me an extra one when I asked and that pretty much solved the issue. Would stay here again if I returned to Nara.

В номере был чайник, чай, стаканчики пластиковые (что неудобно), фен, сушилка для белья, ванные принадлежности, много полотенец. Но на ярусном этаже где кровать очень пыльно. Всё окно и занавески в пыли. Приложила фото.

This hotel is exactly something what we expected to experience with a Japanese style room and hot spring. We chose Japanese style room which was spacious enough for 3 guests. Hotel fee already included Japanese dinner served inside room and breakfast (Japanese or American) served in their restaurant. Hot spring is available from 4pm-11pm, however, no morning session is available which a bit disappointed us. Hot spring area is not big, it is more enjoyable when there are only 2-3 guest in the pool. Hotel location is good, only about 6 mins walk from Kintetsu Nara station. The only bad thing was NO elevator or escalator from the station up to ground floor exit. All other main tourist attractions are within walkable distance.
