The front desk staff, restaurant crew, cleaning team, and everyone else were all incredibly friendly! The hotel has an old-money vibe, with sculptures and marble floors/walls that are exceptionally well-maintained. The greenery is abundant, and there's a path leading down to a hiking trail and the beach. The breakfast is incredibly rich and high-quality, and in the evenings, there's a live band by the pool. If I visit Jeju again, I'd definitely choose this hotel. (You can swap your breakfast reservation for the lunch buffet, which is also excellent, but you need to inform the front desk in advance to make the change.)

For a 5-star hotel, the staff service is quite disappointing. The front desk had long queues and provided rigid service, while the facility maintenance and housekeeping staff clearly lacked any customer service training. I felt the same way during my last visit, and despite hoping for improvements this time, it's exactly the same. After checking out and staying at another hotel in Jungmun, the significant difference in service is even more apparent. The service is severely lacking compared to advantages like the location.

The hotel environment was just okay, to be honest. We were assigned a ground-floor room, and you could walk straight out to the outside from the balcony door, which meant privacy was a bit lacking. There were tons of tour groups every day, making check-in a slow process. On our second day, nothing in the room was replenished. I'm pretty sure they only vacuumed the floor and made the bed. Nothing else was wiped down; stains on the mirror and dust on the desk were still there after housekeeping. I had to disinfect and wipe the toilet seat myself, or you'd better bring your own toilet cover, otherwise, you'll find it's dirty even after a quick wipe. Breakfast options were very limited, not much to choose from. Some staff were friendly, but others seemed annoyed by Chinese tourists. Besides being close to the theme park and water park, I generally wouldn't recommend it.

First, my initial thoughts: I was prepared for a 'prison-like' room before checking in, but staying here, I actually found the room small but cozy! Coupled with other advantages, the actual experience exceeded my expectations. Now, for the pros: 1. **Rich Community Facilities:** Besides the accommodation buildings, there's a standalone coffee shop, a standalone small bar (received a free beer voucher upon check-in), a GS25 convenience store (the female staff member was very friendly), a gift shop (at the front desk), and a breakfast/lunch restaurant (you can get a discount if you purchase breakfast at the front desk a day in advance). 2. **Excellent Location for Olle Trail 1:** It's very convenient for those doing Olle Trail Route 1. You can walk to Gwangchigi Beach, the starting point of Route 1, in about 10 minutes. 3. **Friendly Staff:** All the service staff were very friendly and could communicate well in English. 4. **Spacious Bathroom:** Although the room itself was small, the bathroom and shower area were quite spacious. 5. **Free Airport Shuttle:** This was an incredibly valuable service. I took the 10:30 AM shuttle to the airport. No reservation was needed, the bus arrived on time, and it took about an hour to reach the airport. Areas for improvement: 1. **Lack of Hooks in Room:** My room had no hooks, except for two small ones in the toilet. I suggest adding one more in the main room without taking up extra space (I saw some other smaller room types had them). 2. **Soap Dispenser Design:** The hand soap dispenser had a short pump, which was inconvenient to use when my hands were dirty. A longer nozzle would be much better. Overall, it was a very good stay. I would consider staying here again if I plan to do other Olle trails on the Seongsan side.

I have to say, it was seeing pictures of this hotel's infinity pool online that immediately made me book a flight to Jeju Island. The weather was perfect, and it was totally worth the trip. From the doorman to the front desk, the service was excellent and very welcoming. We stored our luggage and kept bothering the bellboys to get things out of our bags and change clothes, but the Korean staff enthusiastically helped us every time without any hint of impatience. Check-in wasn't until 3 PM, and we arrived at 11 AM. We went out for some BCH fried chicken, and when we came back before 2 PM, the front desk let us check into our room early. We didn't book a sea view because we spent all our time at the pool. We swam during the day and went back at night – the pool lighting at night was absolutely stunning. We only got back to the room at 10 PM and just went straight to sleep, which saved us some money. Although the room wasn't huge, it was very quiet, and the bedding was super comfortable and clean; I slept really well. The transportation is extremely convenient; the 600 bus is 4500 KRW per person, point-to-point to and from the airport. A taxi to the Jusangjeolli Cliff was also very convenient, only 6000 KRW. Most of the guests were Korean, not many Chinese. The brunch right outside the hotel is absolutely delicious. The hotel's boardwalk is also beautiful, leading straight down to a beach.

The hotel was quite good, the room was clean, however, there is no desk, which was not convenient. Cleanliness was good, we had an ocean view room, the view was great. We didn’t try the breakfast however it’s available for you if you choose it. There is a coffee machine downstairs with some tables to drink it. The reception staff is nice.

I had a wonderful stay at Ocean Blue Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and wellequipped, great value for the price. Although the location is a bit far from the city center, it offers a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxation. Waking up to the sunrise and ocean view from the balcony was truly the highlight of my stay. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy the calm side of Jeju.

First of all - the perfect stay, favouriting. This is pretty much a two-floor townhouse with widest possible 3 bed rooms and all facilities included (plus three toilets and bath-tube). Very warm at winter. Very enjoyable stay. A bit of details. The unit is a part of mini-city of similar houses around. It is built right in the forest. The architects were brave enough to keep original trees around, so your windows are looking directly into the forest - with all the singing birds, tree branches nearly touch your windows (btw, the third photo is from one of the windows). It is very silent place, with breathtaking volcano views. From facilities point of view, the project looks like suffered from financial hardship - most of the things in the minicity that were planned - are still on the plan or were outsourced to another companies (though, I am sure, once the project is completed - the price will double at least). There is no restaurant as such (at the time of writing), at or even around the place; swimming pool is largely incomplete. The BBQ mini-room in the center of the house (which is directly under naked sky) totally rot beyond repair, but I admire designers decision to build it. Never saw anything like this before. I bet it can be rebuilt. Deliveries to that area does not work - too far. So if you hungry at night - you don't have too much of options than a ramyon or cooking yourself (saying this, we discovered 이승악식당 next door - saved us greatly at lunch time). Gym equipment looked very rich, though the gym room is a bit disproportional in size - barely fits it all. Btw, we found a great table tennis table there. Overall it's a great civilization escape. Few things to be planned ahead but waking up by the sun shining directly to your eyes - unbeatable. I believe it's the one, where wife's and husband's opinions differ :).

Although it's a small hotel, the location and facilities are clean and quiet. There's no outside noise. Guests can use the shared kitchen on the second floor, and the rooftop terrace offers a great view of Hallasan Mountain while enjoying a can of beer. Seogwipo Olle Market and many delicious restaurants are within walking distance.

room was clean and spacious for 3 adults. if driving, free parking available and self check in/out through a machine at the carpark lobby. Bottles of water provided every day based on number of pax. location is good, with a nearby local market with plenty of food. quite centralised, distance to hallim/ udo/ gapado are averaged 1hr drive away. Downside: there was only small face towels in the room, no normal big size towels. Probably bring your own towels. overall: will come back! good sea views
