CCw233My daughter wanted to stay in a villa, so we chose this hotel, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise! The hotel was renovated in 2011, so it's a bit old, but it's very well-maintained overall. The lobby is grand and new, and the entire hotel feels like a miniature tropical jungle. Half of it is dedicated to various villas spread out, while the other half has pools connecting the rooms. Even though there are many trees, we didn't encounter any mosquitoes or insects, so the hotel must have treated the area. The hotel has its own beach with white sand and turquoise water. I woke up every day hoping to catch the sunrise, but unfortunately, it rained during my entire stay, so I only saw the morning glow. The hotel service is excellent; they promptly resolve any issues. We stayed in a Grand Bunch Garden Bungalow and added an extra bed. The room's amenities and details were well-maintained, and the shower was very comfortable. The only minor quirk was the traditional key and wooden bolt lock on the door. We didn't know how to lock it at first, so we called the front desk, and they patiently showed us how, haha. The hotel's location is its biggest highlight – right in the heart of Chaweng Beach's liveliest street in Koh Samui! ARK BAR is right next door. Their restaurant serves delicious food, and the beach bar at night is incredibly vibrant! There are fireworks and a fire show every night from 8 PM to 2 AM, allowing us to experience Koh Samui's nightlife up close. Plus, the hotel offers a quiet retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. While it's located on a street filled with bars, restaurants, and massage parlors, the bar noise can be loud at night, so it's a good idea to request a room away from the bar street when booking. There are many massage places and restaurants along the street outside the hotel, all similarly priced and of good quality with clear pricing, so you can choose based on your preference! My family was very satisfied this time, and I'm even writing a review for the first time, haha! 😃

GGuest UserPerfect hotel if you want to be quiet and rest. Good breakfast. Very clean and spacious rooms. (I recommend a villa) pool and beach with many sun loungers. And very good massages inside the hotel. The beach is very good and quiet, many places to eat and drink near the hotel.

GGuest UserThe room was quite good, but the food was very mediocre. On top of that, I found the service to be extremely poor; for this price, I'd rather go to Six Senses.
I had an unpleasant experience with the hotel, but the Trip.com customer service manager promptly handled the situation. I didn't ask for any compensation, but Trip.com protected my rights as a consumer. From now on, I will no longer use other services and will become a loyal Trip.com user.

MMarielleeGarrya Tonsay Bay was a beautiful and peaceful oasis on Koh Samui! We stayed for a couple of nights and loved the variety of included activities, from morning yoga and Muay Thai to circuit classes, paddle boarding, and snorkeling—all very well organized. The restaurant was excellent; we enjoyed the ”Taste of Northern Thailand” dinner, and the breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve had. The staff was amazing, incredibly friendly, and attentive to every detail. Highly recommend this relaxing retreat!

MMs K San DiegoThe resort is clean and cozy. The staffs are mostly friendly and approachable. I believe it’s the best location for me as I can go to the beach on one end and the other end I can go straight easily to the Mall. Location is quite convenient and it was not hard to get a grab at all. Breakfast selection was great with a great view.

AAnonymous UserEverything about this hotel was absolutely amazing! The staff was fantastic—very attentive and professional. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, and the property itself was stunning, with beautiful landscaping and plenty of areas to relax. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, offering a wide variety of high-quality options.
However, there are a couple of downsides. The beach line is quite narrow, and the sand is relatively coarse, though this seems to be a characteristic of the entire North Coast. Additionally, the rooms are designed in a way that you can hear your neighbors, as they are separated by connecting doors. This can occasionally affect privacy and quietness.
Overall, despite these minor issues, everything else was perfect, and I would still highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay!

GGuest UserQuite a new hotel, open in Jan 2024. Very Nice and clean in which the designer looks into every little detailing in designing the room. All the staff are very friendly and polite.
I book a room with private pool but upon check in, there is no bathtub in the room. So we request to change room with bathtub, their friendly staff, Nat, show us the room, help to change and upgrade the room for us.
Hotel is near lots of nice restaurants and places of interest. Breakfast food provided is very nice and we enjoy the breakfast very much for 3 days.
They provide activities like pilates, hydro fit exercise in the morning and evening and free ice-cream and 1 For 1 drinks at the poolside.
Overall, a very nice and friendly hotel which we will come back again.
