Anise hotel

I stayed at Hanoi Anise Hotel & Spa during my holiday to Hanoi, Vietnam. Great location in the Old Quarter and walking distance to the many key attractions; Hanoi night market along Dong Xuan where the street comes alive bustling with many stalls selling almost any and everything useable and edible; Banh Mi 25; Phở Bo Gia Truyền; Giang Cafe (egg coffee)....and many more. The room is spacious, clean, bright and cozy. Breakfast spread was sufficient and get replenished swiftly. The entire team of HAH goes to great extend to ensure the hotel guests are well taken care of. They are patient, friendly, helpful and make effort to meet the guests' needs. Mr Henry Nguyen (Customer Service Manager) absolutely is outstanding in his interaction with his guests. He personally greeted me upon check in and took time and effort to explain the basic and needful information of the hotel amenities and facilities. He attended to all my queries of places of interests and attractions, locations of the foods that I wanted to try, and even shared the way how to cross the busy streets - like a local! Henry is always smiling and polite to his guests, and he treats his team with equal courtesy too. The service of this hotel certainly is 5 stars! It was a lovely experience to stay at HAH, definitely will recommend others to enjoy the great hospitality.

From the helpful doorman, to the attentive reception staff to the excellent breakfast, where do I start? We were upgraded to a city view room. It was spotless & clean throughout, AC very powerful, beautiful towel art on the bed with rose petals. Stayed only 1 night. 8 minute walk to the lake, loads of restaurants and nice bars minutes away, no need for taxis, and to top it all of, a 5 star breakfast with best coffee in Vietnam so far!

This hotel is in a great location. The price is right. Especially considering the size of the room, and the comfort. The hotel could use a little TLC, but for the most part it's in great condition. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. Nice variety of fresh food, including pho, and western dishes. The cons, the AC is pretty loud, and the bathroom window isn't double paned so it's a little loud. We slept with the bathroom door closed. The staff is very friendly. And it's very affordable. Nice to walk out the door and be in the thick of exciting Hanoi.

We had an excellent stay in this hotel, which is very close to the Long beach about 5 minutes and 1 minute away from a night market. However still quite and from a balcony with a nice view of the island nature. Special thanks to the owner who speaks english and is very friendly and helpfull. Nothing was an issue, he even took us very early in the morning to the ferry port.

Very nice hotel and close to the beach, the staff is helpfull and always smile. 5 minutes walking from hotel and you will have all the thing you need, food, coffe, bus stop, beach and swimming pool, i will come back here in the future
