Wyndham Grand Phu Quoc

It claims to be a five star hotel but falls short in every area, unless you are a very assertive and forceful guest, who literally has to complain at every return in order to get decent service. Then, and only then, will you receive proper five star service.  A few quick examples: -There was a mosquito floating in the condensed milk at the buffet; when I alerted a team member, their response was — yes, sir, that’s the milk. I then proceeded to show her the bug, and she simply picked it out rather than replacing the milk. Disgusting   -There was trash on the floor of the buffet and dropped Food that several staff members just walked over -The chef working the egg station at the buffet did not know the difference between a scramble and an omelette, even though they offer both options -The Internet in both of our rooms because we had to change rooms due to cleanliness issues in the first room, Was terrible, However, I will give them credit for sending up a lovely young man from engineering to solve the problem very quickly and replaced the router in our room -Our first guest room had some sort of stain on the wall next to the bed that One can only assume was not sanitary -The drain to the shower in our second room made a terrible gurgling noise the entire time you were using it, Looking for a peaceful shower? This is not the spot. -Despite having direct access to the front office manager, each of these complaints was met with nothing more than I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry we will do better The highlights: -The Bellman were absolutely outstanding, Assisting us in any way they could, and at every return. Bringing us water for my mother who is elderly and was having a long walk back from the pool And ensuring that she made it up to the room, safe and sound When she returned to the hotel after her birthday dinner at the Intercontinental  Phụ Quoc  -Kim, One of the duty manager, Was also exceptional, making terrific recommendations and taking lovely care of us upon our arrival -The in room dining was very good with the exception of waiting over one hour for a burger that came well done despite being ordered medium rare; It also was probably one of the worst burgers I’ve had in Vietnam I could go on and on, but I think the bottom line is that I would not recommend this hotel and I hope that the bell staff and Kim get commended for their exceptional performance. They were certainly the highlights of an otherwise disastrous hotel experience.  -

Good stay here and nuce staff.we had good beach party experience.
