Hotels in Patong Beach, Phuket

I booked this place thinking it would have the multiple rooftop pools (see their images). However, theyve updated to one small L-shaped pool and a section of table/pools that aren't available until after 6pm. It's super deceptive if you think you're getting what the hotel images show. Don't get a balcony - you're just facing another room in the inner area. First night there were a bunch of cockroaches and was told it's the rainy season. Listen, I also live in the tropics and understand seeing the odd one but there were 4-5 roaming around the room in the evening. Told the GM the next day who offered to upgrade/move me, when all I wanted was the room to be sprayed. Was told if they spray more would come so I shifted rooms. It's a great location but the place feels like it's in need of investment. Book it if it's cheap/low season.

After reading different reviews, I booked a room for 1 night. I was happy with all the amenities provided and decided to stay longer in a window-view room. All the provided bad reviews (at least, in my case) are wrong. Mentioned complaints about: - Breakfast - If you need ready-made food, turn left, take 2 steps (or, I assume, make even an order to the room), and 24*7 you can get all kinds of fresh and delicious food (seafood, Asian, European, etc.), or you can turn right - hello, 7/11. - Checkout - The girl I met the next day in the elevator when I was heading to the beach was checking out at 11:55 am - no problem. - Noise - in my case, 5th floor, my room is located at the back of the main door entrance - no noise. - Staff - The staff at the reception is very friendly. Laundry is not available here, but it is manageable (located just to the right, with a standard rate of 50 BHT for 1 kg) - will check later. Beach closeness - 10 mins on foot. So, I would recommend this place as 8 out of 10.

guys this place was soo damn good. when i tell you everything was so conveniently near from this hotel, believe me. you could deadass walk to the patong night market, bangla road, there are like hawker centres for food and shopping like 200-300m from the hotel, theres a 7/11 just out the resort, the patong beach is walking distance as well about 800-900m away, in short EVERYTHING is walking distance, theres a currency exchange just outside, if you wanna book activities that u didnt book prior theres places to book those at reasonable rate. the resort is big and equipped with professional help. rooms were big and clean. loved the staff and everyone there. this is gonna be my go to place in phuket thailand bruh. it is like still 1.2 hours away from the airport but sooo damn worth it. overall 10/10 honestly.

I’ve been staying at this hotel since July 23. At first, there were no issues with the service. However, as time went on, the service noticeably declined—especially this evening, July 29. I went to the lobby around 7:00 PM to reactivate my room key card, just to make sure there would be no problems since I had gone out and extended my stay. The three ladies at the reception confirmed that it was already activated, so I assumed everything was fine. However, when I returned to my room two hours later, I found that the card still wasn’t activated. Instead of acknowledging the error, the staff blamed me for not activating it. They sent a staff member, but he didn’t even bring a spare key card—just came to check—and I had to wait almost 20 minutes just to enter my room. The hotel itself is okay and budget-friendly, but I believe some of the staff need to focus more on their responsibilities rather than just sitting around. I’m really, really disappointed.

I had higher expectations but in reality it was average experience for me in this hotel. Location is super convenient but it can be little noisy at night time. Average experience with small gym and pool.

Staffs are very kind and helpful. When we checked in the rooms, we can still see some cigarette butt and hairs. And we need to ask the cleaner come in to clean it again. And the sound-proofing is super low. We can hear people walk by and the sound-proofing of the lift. Especially when you stay beside a sweet couple. Overall is okay 😊

I highly recommend this hotel. The location of that hotel is perfect, you can go to the beach for 5-7 minutes by foot, enough choice of cafes near the hotel, also you can go to the big shopping center for 30 minutes. That hotel territory is beautiful and clean everywhere. Beautiful trees and blooming flowers are inside and birds sing songs, butterflies fly and we even could see a squirrel on palm trees. Food is good, it’s not so big choice of dishes for European people but it’s enough for breakfast, you always find fried eggs, scrambled eggs ,fruit and vegetables and good coffee from coffee machine, tea and water . Also always croissants and waffles or pancakes. They have enough choice of Asian cuisine. I want to express my graduate to the hotel staff, especially Aun, Nong and Bua . These girls are always helped to us and gave us a good advice to visit another wonderful beach . We did it by taxi and we enjoyed it. The rooms are specious and clean . Each room has balcony and comfortable chairs with small table there. Cleaning was good and every day . You don’t need to worry about shampoo,shower gel, teeth brush and toothpaste , vanity kit , they will be in your bathroom. This hotel also has a beautiful swimming pool. Location was great, walking distance to one of the biggest mall in Patong and food market, many restaurants along the street as well so you don't have to worry about starving in the middle of the night. Check In and Check Out process smooth, you need to put deposit of THB 1,000 for each room. The room was spacious, although it has slight smelly odor at the first time we enter the room. The amenities inside also complete from the toiletries until kitchen appliances, they refill 2 water bottles every day. Recommended for any type of traveler and it was cheap compared to other similar hotel.

We recently stayed at Kalima Resort with our 10-year-old daughter in early June 2025, and despite some challenges due to the rainy weather, we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The resort's hilltop location offers stunning views, but it's worth noting that the steep slopes and stairs may make it less accessible for wheelchair users. Additionally, some corridors aren't sheltered, so you might get wet walking between buildings during rain. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed. Our twin-bedded room with a sea view and balcony was perfect for our family of three, and the bathtub was a hit with my daughter. The hotel staff were polite, friendly, and spoke excellent English. The pool area was a highlight, with a pool bar offering breathtaking views of the sea. The buffet breakfast had a great selection, including halal and vegetarian options. The Italian food served in the afternoon and evening was delicious. The resort's shuttle bus service to Patong shopping malls was convenient, taking just 10 minutes. Overall, despite the slippery floors during the rainy weather, we found the stay to be comfortable and family-friendly. We'd definitely consider returning to Kalima Resort. *Rating:* 4/5 stars (would be 5 stars if accessibility and sheltered corridors were improved)

Main reason of choosing this hotel for 4 nights of our stay because their kitchen is halal certified. There are not much downfalls about this hotel. (1) It is just that the way to the hotel is a little bit unwelcoming until you reach the hotel’s lobby. You have to go thru a small street (like a back street crossing over small houses and stores). Even a bus can’t go thru (refer to the video provided). (2) Booked a deluxe room with sea view but the room space is more like a superior room. However, the sea view is perfect. The waves sound was really calming. Above the downfalls, (1) the accommodation is very clean. Our room always very clean whenever we came back to our room from our activities. The lobby areas & pools are also very clean. (2) you can get a lot of halal/muslim restaurants around the hotel because the restaurants are near a mosque. You also may hear azan from your room. (3) Friendly & helpful staffs. (4) They have buggy services to bring you back to room from main lobby or to the main road (else you need to walk up the stairs to room or to main road (about 3 minutes)). From hotel to Patong beach about 5 minutes walk (with kids). (5) Less options of breakfast but delicious. If there are not much customers, only a la carte is available. If I would returning to Phuket, I’m certainly willing to be back to this hotel.
