Leisure Hotel Pinyao

Our stay at the Leisure Hotel was a real pleasure. The staff were friendly, kind and above all helpful and efficient. The hotel itself is beautiful mix of tradition and modernity. And, importantly, it is right at the center of old Pingyao but the buzzing noise of tourism never reach the hotel.. it is an oasis of calm and relaxation!! Breakfast is traditional Pingyao cuisine but even if you are a vegetarian, like one of us, you get a good choice of vegetable soups, vegetables, eggs etc cooked in such a delicious way! If we come back to Pingyao, we will come back and we will certainly recommend the place to our friends. Five starts from us!!

We had a wonderful time in Pingyao, thanks also to the excellent and welcoming service of the hotel. We were upgraded for free to a very nice and spacious suite. The hotel itself is stylish and elegant, with attention to details. Breakfast is carefully prepared, fresh and everyday different. The staff was attentive to all our needs: transfer to and from the station, English guide, and we even got adapters for our power plugs! We couldn't have asked for more. Warmly recommended

Booked two rooms for our family holiday. Our son returned from the United States, and Pingyao was our first stop as well as our first visit to this historic town. The experience exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the hotel welcomed us warmly, even preparing a thoughtful fruit platter upon check-in, which set a positive tone for our stay. The hotel is newly opened, and it shows. The rooms were impeccably clean, modern, and equipped with floor heating, ensuring a cozy and comfortable retreat from the freezing winter weather outside. The service was truly outstanding. The staff’s hospitality stood out as they went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and enjoyable. They arranged convenient shuttle services to and from Pingyao Ancient City Railway Station, and a staff member even helped carry our luggage up the stairs to the station entrance upon arrival. Such thoughtful acts and care left a lasting impression on us. Overall, our stay was nothing short of perfect. The combination of excellent service, warm hospitality, and a clean, cozy environment made our visit to Pingyao unforgettable. This hotel is perfect in all its dimensions. It breaths the old culture of this unique city, yet has all the advantages of the modern times. The staff is courteous and welcomes guests who do not speak English. They take the time to make you feel at home. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast is superb. Coffee excellent. Their pick up service to and from the railway station are a real treat.
