Would definitely stay here again if I ever were to visit Pingyao again. I also really enjoyed the courtyard with the couches that stayed dry and cozy when it was raining one evening😄"

"They take you and bring you to the train station. The place is a beautiful historic house in beautiful Pingyao, close enough to the town gate and the commercial street. The only critique is that they use disposable paper towels instead of real ones. Who knows why. Pingyao is a jewel and staying in this kind of establishments is part of the experience."

"Located right next to the Confucius Temple, it's incredibly convenient for exploring the ancient city. The rooms have a traditional decor and are very warm. The hotel grounds are really spacious. We arrived late at night, but it was so easy because we'd messaged the hotel on WeChat beforehand to arrange a complimentary business shuttle pick-up from the high-speed rail station. Their service is excellent and proactive. Since it was the off-season, they even upgraded us to a larger room for free, which was fantastic value for money. With traditional kang beds, old-fashioned door locks, and a classic courtyard, it's perfect for guests who want to experience traditional culture."
