MM445315****Come to Pingyao to play, it is estimated that this is a newly opened hotel. The environment facilities have nothing to say. It is very clean and spacious. The hotel is convenient to go anywhere next to the ancient city. There are snack streets next to various restaurants to eat. The hotel service staff are also good. Everything is in place. Give me a good experience, and then Pingyao will live in his house! ! !

JJerryb10421This establishment is fantastic. Rooms clean and upgraded, staff extremely accommodating and friendly. It has the perfect location to start to explore the town and is very close to where the nightly light show is, so an easy walk back to your room. The morning breakfast is fresh made, and more than enough food to fill you up for your day of exploration. They offer pick-up and drop-off to the train station for free. I can not express enough how hospitable the staff is and they make your stay special.

AAnonymous UserTraveling solo, I randomly picked this hotel, and it completely surpassed my expectations! They even contacted me while I was still on the high-speed train. It's just a short walk from the North Gate; turn right, and you're there. It happened to be raining that evening, but even quick photos of the exterior turned out stunning! The lady at the front desk even helped me with my luggage. The room also had complimentary snacks, and the courtyard view was beautiful. Absolutely incredible value for money!!!

TTraveller from EastStayed two nights and absolutely loved it. The traditional architecture gives the place a unique charm. The room was clean, and the hot showers were great. The host was friendly, helpful, and fluent in English. She very resourceful! I also met some awesome fellow backpackers. Everything about this hostel is super chill. And what other hostel lets you check in from 8? Highly recommend! 10/10

SShengWe had such a wonderful stay here! The place has a cozy, family-style vibe that instantly made us feel at home. The location couldn’t be better, just steps away from the entrance to the walled city, which made exploring super easy. The room was comfortable, with a firm bed and warm comforter that gave us a great night’s sleep, plus a hot shower to start the day right. What really stood out was the host’s hospitality. They went above and beyond by picking us up from the hotel and sharing great suggestions on fun things to do around the city. It really made our trip extra special. Would definitely come back again and highly recommend to anyone visiting!

SsundeluxAbsolutely wonderful! The courtyard garden is beautifully designed, and the flowers and plants are meticulously cared for. The rooms are also very unique and kept spotlessly clean! Regarding breakfast, there are countless dining options just outside, so we didn't bother about the guesthouse providing it. After all, it's a guesthouse – you come for the atmosphere, not primarily for the food. And most importantly, the elderly matriarch of the guesthouse is truly wonderful! She comes across as very worldly and wise, incredibly polite, generous, and possesses a wonderfully cultured demeanor. The younger owner is also excellent; they'll proactively contact you to confirm your arrival time, which gate you'll be entering, and how they'll pick you up, explaining everything in detail. This detailed guidance is incredibly helpful, especially considering the various regulations within the ancient town. I'll definitely book here again if I come with friends next time! We had a very comfortable stay. Thank you!

The recommended restaurants are cost-effective and do not step on thunder. Various takeaways can also be delivered to the room ③ The pick-up service is like: the master is friendly and takes the initiative to help with luggage. The shuttle service is on time and reliable. The ancient city is super worry-free with luggage; ④ The overall service is online: from check-in to check-out, the whole process is smooth, the demand response is fast, the century-old house is charming and comfortable, and it is highly recommended to friends who come to Pingyao!

JJeffery.truongThe ancient city Pingyao and the Yundingxuan hotel blowed our mind. The hotel provide free pickup from the train station. We took the high speed train arrived at Pingyaocheng station which is around 15 minutes away from the ancient city. When you enter the city wall gate, you will be amazed of the narrow streets and cobblestone road. Picked Yundingxuan hotel because it was closed to the North gate so If the taxi was to dropped us off it’ll be a short walk but the driver dropped us off near the hotel because cars are not allowed within the main streets. The hotel is closed to 200 years old and have characteristics of the Ming and Qing dynasties. I was born in Vietnam, With roots to China but raised up in the US since I was 7 years old. I’ve seen Chinese movies but nothing will prepare you to the hotel and the ancient city. I was surprised how big the hotel complex was. All the staff were very nice, the main host spoke English, and the breakfasts were traditional Chinese breakfast. We stayed two nights and we felt safe throughout our visit. My wife and daughter appreciated the three hotel cats and all the felines throughout the city. I’m sure the other hotels are fantastic and will give your a unique experience but I can vouch for Yundingxuan. Just be prepared to get out your comfort zone but be amazed by the visual and taste of Pingyao Ancient City.

PPanPivoI must highly recommend this wonderful hotel in the historic centre of Pingyao. The hotel is really authentic, well equipped, the room was beautiful and I didn't miss anything during my stay. The owner is very nice and helpful, he was able to help me with everything. The front desk is guarded by a small, beautiful dog who gives you a proper greeting. Everything is a short walk from the hotel yet it is in a quiet area where you won't be disturbed. Not choosing this hotel for my stay would be a big mistake. Thank you very much -‐----------------------- Tento nádherný hotel v historickém centru města Pingyao musím vřele doporučit. Hotel je opravdu autentický, dobře vybavený, pokoj byl krásný a během pobytu mi nic nechybělo. Majitel je velmi milý a ochotný, se vším mi dokázal pomoci. Recepci hlídá malý, krásný pejsek, který vás náležitě přivítá. Vše je kousek od hotelu a přitom je v klidné oblasti, kde vás nebude nikdo rušit.
