The owner is handsome and reliable! They offer luggage pickup and drop-off service right at the scenic spot's entrance, so I arrived with an empty suitcase and left with it full. The owner even provided a map of the scenic area 🗺️, helped plan a route to avoid tourist traps, recommended great food, and shared where to get free gifts 🎁. Before I left, he even gave me two bottles of Shanxi aged vinegar, hahaha. Oh, and the absolute best part was the room! It was so comfortable and clean, with an antique, charming decor that created a wonderful atmosphere. There were no strange odors, just a faint, pleasant sandalwood and pine scent. The king-size bed was so big, we couldn't even find each other at night! 🤣🤣🤣 Definitely no accidental kicks. The air conditioning was quiet and cool, and the room had excellent soundproofing, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep without any disturbance from other guests. I slept soundly until morning. I booked the canopy king room, which had such a lovely vibe, hahaha. My experience was 100% perfect. Next time, I'll definitely take more pictures of the room. This isn't a paid ad, I'm just genuinely happy with my stay, hahahaha! 📸 The inn's location is also super convenient. It's right in the heart of the scenic area's main attractions, lively and easy to get around without unnecessary walking. Ha, I really know how to pick a guesthouse! I came to Shanxi following the Black Myth route, and this homestay really amazed me! The night view inside Boya Residence is so photogenic that every shot feels like a blockbuster movie! It is one kind of scenery during the day, and it is another kind of scenery when you come back from the busiest main street and enter the courtyard at night. It is really beautiful, absolutely stunning. I took a lot of great photos in the courtyard, and I didn't have to retouch them. The courtyard was really comfortable and quiet. It was really leisurely to have a cup of tea in the courtyard and enjoy this moment of tranquility. Every detail in the room of this store is really pleasing. The beautiful boss will stand from the perspective of the guests to prepare everything in the room. This trip to Pingyao Ancient City is really worth it. When you come to Pingyao, you must stay in the courtyard of the beautiful sister's house, which is also an ancient courtyard with a history of the Qing Dynasty.

My mother and two aunts came to Shanxi for a trip before the May Day holiday, and their first stop was Pingyao Ancient City. After browsing further, I found that the hotel facilities were very new and high-end, and they also offered services like station pick-up, so I decisively made a reservation. On the day of their arrival, I communicated with the owner in advance. The owner was kind, amiable, and meticulously provided me with an introduction, and understood the details needed for the pick-up. For the pick-up, the owner personally used a Mercedes-Benz van, which was quite a high-class touch! Upon arrival at the hotel, he patiently and thoroughly explained the hotel's features and provided information about some attractions in Pingyao Ancient City. He even contacted me after my mother and aunts went into the ancient city to inform them about some things to pay attention to while exploring. He was truly thoughtful. The next day when they checked out, the owner personally drove them to the North Gate. Even though it was a short stay of less than a day, it truly demonstrated the highly professional standards and warm, attentive service of this hotel, the owner, and their team. It made me feel incredibly reassured. The next time I bring my family to visit the ancient city, I will definitely choose this hotel again!

I stayed at the Tingbo Hotel, and the location is absolutely fantastic, right at the entrance of the scenic area. You can step out and start exploring immediately, which is incredibly convenient. The room was spotless, so clean you could see your reflection, and the bed was super soft – I woke up feeling completely refreshed. The front desk staff were wonderful, always patiently answering my questions, truly thoughtful. I especially loved the hotel's decor style; it's very unique. Every corner is meticulously arranged and looks amazing in photos. Plus, the hotel service was excellent; it was such a pleasant stay. The value for money at this hotel is incredible. The price wasn't expensive, but the service and facilities were outstanding. It felt like a great deal. The hotel is clean, and its location near the north gate of the ancient city means you can walk everywhere, which is very convenient. I'll definitely come back next time.
