"The B&B is close to the North Gate, so it was pretty easy to find. The owner even picked me up from Pingyao Ancient City Station late at night, which I really appreciated – it made my travel experience so much better. They carefully explained the locations of attractions and gave me a map. When I left, they even gave me some vinegar as a gift; they're incredibly warm and welcoming. Seriously, if you're coming to Pingyao, you should definitely stay here, haha! It's safe, clean, and the facilities are all there. For longer stays, they even proactively clean your room. The decor has a local flair too – who wouldn't want to try sleeping on a traditional heated 'kang' bed without any fuss? Thanks for everything, I'll definitely stay here again next time. Loved it, loved it!"

GGuest UserA lovely traditional courtyard hotel with lots of character right in the heart of the old city within walking distance to everything you would want to see. The owner speaks good English and provides you with a map and details of beautiful Pingyao’s must see local attractions. The hotel is quiet and the Chinese breakfasts with either tea or coffee are delicious. The owner can also organise a good driver for any out of town excursions. Highly recommended

From travel and transportation to travel guides, he patiently answered questions and gave detailed introductions. The inn has an independent small courtyard. We live in a kang bed. The room is not big, but it is clean and tidy. The only shortcoming is that the water storage capacity of my water heater is too small😅Go to the ancient city for a walk. The boss also emphasized not to shop in Jingcheng. If you have anything, contact me on WeChat in time. 😀Before leaving, I also gave two bottles of old vinegar🤩Thank you for the boss's warm hospitality. The courtyard is ancient and quiet, and is especially suitable for travel photography of Jin young ladies. It is very photogenic. The landlord has a studio in his own home, so you can take photos. The location of the house is very good. It is a short walk to the center of the South Street in the ancient city, and it is convenient to go anywhere. Next to it are popular online stores such as Hongwuji and Mr. Liang Yogurt. There is a queue of 3 hours on holidays. If you find the landlord, you don’t have to queue up and go in directly to eat, and you can also get a discount. The landlord can pick you up at the station and drop you off at the station. This service is very important on holidays. Tell the landlord your time, the landlord will give reasonable travel suggestions, and can also help rent a car and arrange a tour guide. CCristinaA very beautiful hotel that takes you back in time. The hotel is a work of art and has also a very relaxing outdoor traditional garden. We opted for the traditional beds and we had a great time. Service was spotless and very attentive. The hotel is located right by the main streets and you can walk to the attractions easily. We definitely recommend this hotel.

ZzhlcocoChengjia Old Home is a typical Shanxi house style, with a quiet environment amidst the hustle and bustle, quiet but not far from the commercial street. The room is carefully decorated and clean. The service is responsive and considerate, and the pick-up and drop-off services are in place. A very satisfying stay experience. KK Hoffman (Canada)Fantastic ancient Chinese lodging with modern amenities. You get the chance to sleep on a Luohan bed. The room is a suite! Within Pingyao walled city, it was easy to go to visit the sites. The lady owner gave me a map. Even though I speak no Chinese and they speak no English, we were able to communicate using a translator app. She recommended a restaurant when I asked. They made the utmost effort to make your stay enjoyable. The owner took me to the railway station when I left. P.S. Best to download MAPS.ME as it will work offline. Google Maps does not work in China. The taxi will drop you outside the city wall and you can ride the shuttle to the hotel. Make sure you got the Chinese address. Also same possible, install the Wechat app as it is used widely in China - you text in English they translate to Chinese and vice versa.

GGuest UserI was on a temporary business trip and took a boat trip to visit the ancient city. Because I was short of time, I couldn't stay overnight, but it was too sunny during the day. After discussing with the boss for a long time, I agreed to stay for a few hours. Haha, I was forced to be given an hourly room. I feel that this small courtyard is quite nice. The only shortcoming is that it would be better if there were more green plants. I sat and drank tea with the boss and chatted until it cooled down before going out. This inn is very convenient from the main street light show and everything. The boss also avoided a lot of pitfalls. It has good reviews.

MMojiechoudoufu位置在平遙古城北門附近，居民區裏的一家民宿，晚上很靜。衚衕里居民在納涼聊天，很有生活氣息的。步行去商業街也不遠。住宿是富有當地特色的大炕，住我們一家四口很寬敞。空調很涼。衞生間帶淋浴。院子古香古色，我們入住的時候，另外一家子正在拍攝古裝造型，很應景。老闆很熱情，也是個會生活的人。在店裡養了一衹鷯哥一衹松鼠。鷯哥會説話，很討孩子喜歡。早餐在地下，老闆還給一個娃免了早餐費。憑住宿房卡在古城商業街上三家店吃飯可以打九折。走的時候老闆還貼心的贈了一瓶醋。很nice的一家店。
