Choosing this hotel for our trip to Pingyao was a brilliant decision! The location is unparalleled, right next to Pingyao's West Gate and adjacent to the 'Impression Pingyao' theater, making it incredibly convenient for catching a show and getting around. The hotel is connected to the Pingyao Restaurant, boasting high-end facilities. The room furnishings are exquisite, complete with a Dyson hairdryer, and the toiletries are also top-notch, ensuring an excellent stay. The staff's service was warm and attentive. They even upgraded us for free to a suite with an electric heated 'kang' bed. The room was spacious and comfortable, featuring a lovely tea set – perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea. They provided thoughtful pick-up and drop-off service throughout our stay, with heartwarming details at every turn. Upon check-out, they even gave us a complimentary specialty Pingyao lacquerware souvenir. Their sincerity was evident, and the value for money was outstanding. This is definitely our top choice for accommodation when visiting Pingyao! There's also an older establishment inside the ancient city called Qigongguan, which is very antique and well-maintained. However, for comfort, Molan is still superior.

Two moms and three kids stayed in the duplex suite, and as soon as we entered, the little one was ecstatic! ✨ The second floor had a fun kids' tent, and the first floor a comfy tatami mat. The overall decor was warm and cozy, and the artistic tea table added a great vibe. The room was spotlessly clean, and the mattress soft and comfortable, making our stay incredibly relaxing. The guesthouse location is superb, right in the lively area of Pingyao. It was super convenient for dining out, shopping, and booking travel photoshoots. The courtyard lights at night created a fantastic ambiance; every photo we took looked great, and we got so many satisfying shots. I have to praise the service! The team is very young, and the butler was incredibly attentive. They provided private car transfers for all our comings and goings. We accidentally left some clothes in the room without even realizing it, but the butler promptly contacted us and even helped ship them to our next hotel. It was incredibly thoughtful. This place is truly recommendable, and we'll definitely choose it again when we come back to Pingyao!

This guesthouse is located just a hundred meters inside Pingyao's North Gate. While it's a little removed from the county government and other core ancient city attractions, it escapes the hustle and bustle of the streets, offering a quiet and peaceful retreat. The architectural design is very thoughtful. The soft Tiffany blue palette blends seamlessly with the traditional brick courtyard. The three jujube trees in the courtyard add a unique touch of the ancient city's rustic charm, creating a perfect blend of old and new with a wonderful atmosphere. The service from the staff was exceptionally warm. Transfers were well-arranged, and the staff were very welcoming. The young owner was innocent and playful, even offering my younger brother some biscuits. The family suite we stayed in was incredibly comfortable and well-equipped. The butler provided meticulous care, ensuring both the elderly and children had a pleasant stay. Unfortunately, our trip was rushed, and we only stayed for one night, leaving with a feeling of wanting more.

We had a lovely stay here in Pingyao. The hotel was utmost welcoming and kind, starting with preliminary information, a free pick-up up from the train station, a suggested sightseeing tour route with the most relevant sights in the ancient city, and a restaurant recommendation. Beyond that, they served free light breakfast and helped us in every aspect we asked for. Highly recommend to stay in this property in this ancient location.

A pleasant family-run homestay near the northern gate of Pingyao Old Town, in a quieter area away from the main crowds. The hosts are very kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful, offering a warm and personal welcome. The complimentary transfer to and from the train station is very convenient, and small gestures like offering fruits, snacks and local vinegar as farewell gift add a thoughtful touch. The room is spacious, rather clean, and well-equipped, with modern amenities and even some smart home features. The bed is comfortable, although the bedding presentation could be improved slightly (ironed). There are also a couple of minor details—such as the bathtub not being firmly fixed—that could benefit from a bit more attention to ensure the safety. Breakfast is simple and local in style, which many may appreciate for its authenticity, though it is relatively basic. Overall, this homestay offers a comfortable and welcoming stay with a lot of potential. With a little more attention to finishing details and consistency, it could easily become an excellent choice for visitors.

Environment: It's very close to Pingyao Ancient City and 'See Pingyao Again', with a shopping mall nearby. It's also close to the train station, making it convenient for sightseeing. Round-trip shuttle service: The round-trip shuttle service can be booked in advance, which is very convenient.

Overall, my stay was incredibly satisfying! The room was spotless, and the bedding was super comfy, leading to a very peaceful night's sleep. The environment was quiet with no noise disturbances. The front desk staff were really friendly and quick to respond to any issues; they even helped with my luggage [strong emoji]. Breakfast was delicious too. The location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around and dining, and it's super easy to walk to the old town. The facilities are well-maintained, and it offers fantastic value for money. I highly recommend staying here! I'll definitely choose this place again next time.

Facilities: Well-equipped Cleanliness: Always cleaned and very tidy Ambiance: Absolutely stunning for a historical visit. This is a centuries-old inn, with seven courtyards deep. Being here felt like stepping back into the glorious era when Jin merchants thrived. Service: Excellent. There are two incredibly cute kittens in the courtyard that my son absolutely adored. The owner even provided toys for playing with them. When we weren't out exploring, my son spent his time in the courtyard playing with the cats and had a wonderful time.

The location is excellent. It's right in the center of Goseong, making it a great base for exploring the city. Starting from the center, you can easily explore all directions and then back to the center, making it a great location. It's my first time at Pingyao District Office, so it's a bit tricky to judge the hotel facilities. However, the room is modern and well-appointed. The bed was clean and the mattress was adequately comfortable. The bathroom has good hot water. While the cleanliness is a bit lacking, the kindness of the owner and staff makes up for it. Boss!!! I had a great stay and had a great time.

Extremely satisfied! Staying right inside the ancient city made it incredibly convenient to get everywhere. The owner was super helpful, answering all our questions and providing very detailed information. As soon as you walked in, you could see clothing racks and a makeup area. Lots of people were trying on headpieces and picking out clothes – it was really popular. Our room upstairs had two beds. The bathroom was quite clean and very well-organized, and it even came with disposable toiletries. When we opened the curtains, we had a view of the inner courtyard – it's actually a traditional two-section building. The view outside was simply beautiful! Staying in the ancient city was truly the right decision.
