"1. The room was incredibly clean, honestly the cleanest hotel I've stayed in for years. All the facilities were new and there were no strange odors. The owner even thoughtfully provided disposable towels and bath towels. Hot water was available 24/7.
2. We stayed on the second floor, and right outside our door was a small terrace with a table and chairs. It was lovely to have a drink and chat under the stars in the evening.
3. Cars aren't allowed inside Pingyao Ancient City, so the owner provided free parking and personally drove us to and from the hotel. The hotel is very close to Yingxun Gate and the pedestrian street, about a five-minute walk.
4. Upon check-in, the owner also provided a map, marking all the recommended must-see spots in Pingyao Ancient City and even arranging them in order to avoid backtracking."

"I stayed at the Tingbo Hotel, and the location is absolutely fantastic, right at the entrance of the scenic area. You can step out and start exploring immediately, which is incredibly convenient. The room was spotless, so clean you could see your reflection, and the bed was super soft – I woke up feeling completely refreshed. The front desk staff were wonderful, always patiently answering my questions, truly thoughtful. I especially loved the hotel's decor style; it's very unique. Every corner is meticulously arranged and looks amazing in photos. Plus, the hotel service was excellent; it was such a pleasant stay. The value for money at this hotel is incredible. The price wasn't expensive, but the service and facilities were outstanding. It felt like a great deal. The hotel is clean, and its location near the north gate of the ancient city means you can walk everywhere, which is very convenient. I'll definitely come back next time."

The rooms are spotlessly clean, the a**osphere in the courtyard is beautiful. The owner, Harry, speaks good English and is very helpful in explaining the best spots to see in Pingyao. The property is precious, location is excellent, quiet at night, peaceful during the day, spacious and amenities working perfectly. There is nothing bad at all I can say about it, if we come back to Pingyao we would choose it again.

The front desk lady contacted me early in the morning to tell me how to park and asked for my license plate so they could arrange a pick-up and drop-off service. The guesthouse has a courtyard-style layout and is very thoughtfully decorated. The rooms are spacious, and all the facilities are excellent, with great soundproofing too. Breakfast had a good variety, including milk and freshly brewed coffee, which is quite impressive for a guesthouse. Before we left, the front desk lady even gave us a box of vinegar as a gift. Very satisfied!

The owner speaks good English and provides you with a map and details of beautiful Pingyao’s must see local attractions. The hotel is quiet and the Chinese breakfasts with either tea or coffee are delicious. The owner can also organise a good driver for any out of town excursions. Highly recommended

GGuest UserI specially rushed to travel during the off-peak period after the Spring Festival to take the dog out for fun. After booking the room, I added WeChat with the landlady. She thoughtfully sent us the navigation location and a long route to get there. She also helped us book a drama to see Pingyao again. We called her the day before departure. I also contacted the hotel. I felt it was very reliable before going. They arranged to pick us up on the day. Because we were not familiar with it, we needed someone to guide us. However, the location of the inn is very close to the navigation gate and it is very dog-friendly! Very considerate. You can adjust the temperature of the central air conditioner in the room. It is hygienic and clean. The location of the accommodation is very close to South Street and relatively quiet. Because there are not many guests traveling during off-peak hours, we were upgraded to a room type for free. We got a sticker and drew the location. , independent wifi in the room, free access to mineral water, the store staff is really nice! The dog friends who recommended it to me hope that they will all come and check in with their dogs, haha! Almost everything I asked for was answered. Before I left, I said that there was really no need to send us away. It was very close, but the boss lady still asked us to send us away in the scenic spot car. I hope the business is prosperous and the store is caring!

GGuest UserI have been to Pingyao several times. This time I brought the kids with me. This time I had to stay in an inn on the main street. It was very easy to find. I used to live in a small alley where there were no street lights at night. This inn was too close to the next gate. After parking the car, it only took a few minutes to get there. The owner was also very talkative. He introduced us the itinerary for the ancient city and helped us avoid many pitfalls. The room is well-arranged, very clean and has direct drinking water. There is a travel photography shop above the store, which is also owned by his family. He gave a great discount. I will stay at his house next time. I wish the boss a prosperous business!

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, right on the edge of the central district, and it's well-lit around the hotel, so you don't have to worry about walking in the dark at night. Both the room and the bathroom have heating, and the water heater is very powerful, so you won't have to worry about zero-degree weather. The toilets are smart toilets, and the heated seats are incredibly addictive in winter. Plus, the hotel courtyard is very picturesque for photos.
The service was truly excellent. When we arrived, they helped carry our luggage up to our room, and when we left, they even drove us to the city gate.
The hotel also provided two discount vouchers for local restaurants, both highly recommended online, and we enjoyed some great food and drinks there.

GGuest UserPingyao Yundingxuan truly exceeded our expectations! This ancient courtyard, a former Shanxi merchant's residence, has an incredible atmosphere, perfect for amazing photos. The location is superb, right on West Street in the heart of the old town, within walking distance of 'Impression Pingyao' and all major attractions – super convenient for sightseeing and dining.
The hotel offers free pickup and drop-off at the city gate, helps with luggage, and provides thoughtful and attentive service. They patiently explained sightseeing routes and even assisted with discounted bookings for 'Impression Pingyao' tickets, saving us time and effort.
The rooms are clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding. The courtyard is quiet and tranquil, making it a very reassuring stay for both elderly guests and children. The amenities are comprehensive, and the breakfast is authentic. It offers incredible value for money. It's definitely the top choice for family trips to Pingyao. Highly recommended; we'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Pingyao.

HHuotouyuA wonderful inn nestled in a tranquil location amidst the bustle of the city. From the initial pick-up and parking arrangements to the final departure, there was not a single unpleasant experience; they were incredibly attentive, helpful, and meticulous. The inn is elegant, clean, and tidy. The staff are friendly, patient, and responsive. The aroma of freshly baked bread fills the air daily, and the Chinese and Western breakfasts are cooked to order. While the variety isn't extensive, every bite is satisfying, especially the bowl of beef noodles, which is incredibly good! The room's simple and elegant decor perfectly reflects the ancient city's style. No matter how exhausted you are from exploring, returning to the courtyard provides a truly relaxing and tranquil experience. Overall, it was a truly wonderful two-day stay. I'd especially like to thank Ms. Dong Yanxia (I think that's her name) for her patient, meticulous, and attentive service, which has left me and my family with wonderful memories of this holiday!

We arrived late by high-speed train, and the owner drove directly to the station to pick us up. All the restaurants in the ancient city were closed, so the owner lent us his electric tricycle to go eat outside the city. Riding that little vehicle through the ancient city at night was truly a special experience, haha.
As for the room, it had everything we needed, and the underfloor heating kept it very warm. The large kang bed was quite unique, and even the mouthwash cups were disposable. Since it was the off-season, the owner even upgraded our room. Although the wallpaper was a bit peeling, it didn't affect our stay at all.
Moreover, right outside the inn is the owner's own travel photography studio. I'm so glad I didn't book one of those trendy shops recommended online in advance. The photo shoot here was absolutely fantastic 💖. The makeup artist was very gentle and recommended suitable hairstyles and makeup based on my face shape. I loved the photos, and there was absolutely no pressure during the selection process – completely voluntary.
A perfect ancient city experience, I'll definitely recommend it to my friends!
