Pingyao Juhongyuan Mansion（Part 2 ）

Excellent and friendly reception when we arrived at the hotel. We only had one and half days to tour pingyao and the hotel staff were very helpful in recommending a half day guided tour with buggy transport to various sites in Pingyao Guchen. They also helped us to link up with a tour agency to book a day tour to Wang Jia Da Yuan and Hukou waterfall. The staff helped us to book tickets to the show，又见平遥， and shuttled us to the venue after the half day tour. Because of their excellent recommendations and service, we managed to enjoy the sights and culture of Pingyao within one and half days. The hotel is in a beautiful traditional courtyard. Newly renovated. The room is very clean with modern amenities. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is hearty. We also love the free transfer from high speed rail station to hotel and return. Highly recommended!

My stay at Pingyao Juhongyuan Mansion (Part 2) was truly memorable. The hotel’s cleanliness and hygiene were impeccable, creating a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our visit. The private courtyard was beautifully maintained, adding to the charm of the property. One of the standout features was the hotel’s thoughtful arrangement of transportation services, including a dedicated car for pickups and drop-offs. The rooms were fully equipped with smart technology, ensuring a modern and convenient stay.

Family run hotel. Surprised hotel arranged picked up at HSR Stn which was not mentioned when booking. Breakfast is normal chinese type. Hotel located inside the Ancient Cjty. Staff are friendly and resourceful. Exploring the ancient city on your own will be difficult as the ancient city is like a 'maze' Needs a bugggy car to brjng you to destination at Rmb10 per trip per person and then explore by foot. Suggest hotel to have signbroad or card of the guest name with the guest when picking up at train statikn to avoid scam.

Hotel responded v fast to get connected in wechat upon booking confirmation. Mr Xiao Zhang was at the HSR stn to meet all its customers. Transported by hotel mini bus to an exchange point for buggies as outside cars were not allowed into Gucheng alleyways. Pinyao Juhongyuan Mansion 2 was off the Gucheng centre. Buggies were provided to send customers to the centre. Trip back, 10 yuan per head. Staff team provided v warm service. Room on 1st floor was newly renovated - clean & comfortable with a mini AI device to greet & welcome. Its other functions were short-lived. There was no lift. May not be suitable for elderly w poor mobility. Traditional chinese breakfast. Bread available w jam.

Vety good. Forget the breakfast. No coffee, no tea, no cereales, no fruit juice, no butter, no fried eggs.

The room was clean, but the service was terrible. The hotel pressured us to leave 1.5 hours early for the train station which was just 15 mins away. This was because they had to pick up other customers but they lied and said we had to leave early because there would be traffic (there wasn’t). We ended up having to wait at the train station for over an hour.
