Leling JIA Film Inn（Film Festival Reception Inn）

The best experience in the entire trip to Pingyao. The butler service was attentive and the room was full of details. When I left, it happened to be the Chinese Valentine's Day and they even sent flowers, which was warm and considerate.

Service: Perfect, butler-style service. The butler will contact you in advance before arrival and provide train station pick-up and drop-off service. There is welcome refreshments upon arrival, and fresh fruits and snacks are available in the room every day. When you go out, you will also be given some water and snacks. The breakfast and restaurant were so good, I think I could have stayed a few more days just for the chef. The nutrition is balanced and each dish has its own flavor. I personally think it tastes much better than what I eat in the ancient city. I particularly like their yam and Pingyao beef, and even asked the hotel to help me buy some to take home. Facilities: There were three of us traveling, and we found a suitable room type, a two-bedroom suite. Although the room was small, it was fully equipped with facilities and good details. It had a cultural atmosphere and a simple flavor that combined modern and traditional elements. I especially liked the artist's photographs displayed in the room. There is a tea room for guests in the courtyard (free of charge), as well as a cinema (inside the restaurant). My father watched two movies (directed by Jia Zhangke) for two consecutive days. I also got two books by the director here (I finished the first one on the way home. I highly recommend it to friends who like film culture. The director has a very good writing style). Environment: The hotel is located on East Street, one of the main streets of Pingyao Ancient City. It is not far from various attractions and is quiet in the bustling city. If you don’t want to walk, you can often come across tourist minibuses in the ancient city as soon as you go out. It costs ten yuan per person for a one-way trip and you can take it to wherever you want to go. It is a good choice under the scorching sun. It is also recommended to take a minibus to see Pingyao outside the city.

I want to give this hotel a very high rating! I will still choose this hotel next time I go to Pingyao! After booking the hotel, the staff called to confirm how to get to the hotel. After learning that we were driving by car, they helped us reserve a parking space in advance and arranged a tour bus to pick us up (the car cannot enter the ancient city). After arriving at the hotel, they took the initiative to help us carry our luggage to the room. During the tour We were also very patient and detailed in explaining our consultation issues. The next day we learned that we were going to the Wang Family Courtyard and packed a bag of water snacks for us to take with us on the way. They also brought us snacks when we checked out. They were really considerate! They also arranged tour bus pick-up and drop-off for us when we were going back and forth to the parking lot and checking out. The service attitude of the guy who picked up and dropped off was also great. The breakfast was ordered a day in advance and was really rich. All the staff at this hotel are very professional and truly make you feel at home. The room is booked as a two-bedroom, and the price-performance ratio is very high during the tourist season (a room for three people is the most cost-effective). The hardware is actually quite good. There is an entrance hall as soon as you enter the door. There are one bedroom on the left and right, no small hall, and only one bathroom. It is in the master bedroom, which is suitable for a family. It is not awkward to enter and exit the two rooms at will. From a purely hardware point of view, the price is on the high side during peak season, but if two bedrooms are shared equally, plus software services, etc., it is definitely a great value!

We took the battery cart directly to the hotel entrance, which was very convenient. The lady and brother at the front desk were very considerate. They gave us a map of the ancient city, introduced the attractions in detail, and recommended several delicious restaurants, which was great! The hotel decoration and environment are very good, the breakfast is rich and exquisite, and the service is very considerate! I will stay with them next time I come. A very good experience.
