We stayed here from 14th to 24th October as two adults and a 22 month old . ( important of the age) First night we got here at first glance we were happy , we were given a terrace room however asked for a balcony room . This was because it would be contained so my daughter couldn’t wander off as toddlers do. The woman receptionist was helpful and organised us with this. We got to the room and it was really good until my daughter ran into the door to try open it but it swung outwards then back and hit her in the head as it was not on any runners like slider doors are. I went to reception to tell them the door was broken and it had hit my child on the head leaving a visible mark , to which she laughed after speaking to me saying it was supposed to be like this. I completely understand people have nervous/ awkward laughs however there’s a time and a place and certainly not when a guest tells you a child has been injured. She kept mentioning their shift ended in ten minutes presumably to get me to leave however after explaining the room was not safe she got a workman to come out and fix it . This workman even with no English understood what I meant and fixed it straight away within 5 minutes. Then we moved rooms and the door here was the same however after the first experience I thought to just leave it as I didn’t want to deal with the rude receptionist again. However with great effort to keep her away from the door my daughter done it again this time hitting her head , chin and toes from where the door hit her. We went to reception where I’m guessing it was the manager there who basically said keep her away from the door, believe me if my toddler done everything I told her to and listened to me parenting would be so much easier but it’s not that simple . Eventually she said she would get the workman to come out (18th) he did however looked at the door and said there was nothing he could do as it is an old door and been like this all the time. Receptionist called the room to explain he could lock the doors in place so they were open permanently however I explained I co-slept with my child so I needed the doors to be able to close so if she got out the bed in the night she couldn’t go far or get into things she shouldn’t. Once realising they would help I then called tui , if you need the reps during your stay good luck we saw Maurico I think his name was twice , the next rep was Debbie but she was never at the desk . After calling tui and putting a complaint in they were able to get in touch with the hotel by email as they did not answer the phone and sent the same workman out. I explained to the workman we stayed in room 111 and the doors were safe as the workman that night fixed it but he still didn’t understand which may have been the language barrier . However after 30 minutes the guy from the first night came and then the doors were finally put on runners and made safe since he already understood. I just couldn’t understand why this was no

We have just came back from what I can only describe as a fantastic holiday. The staff are lovely and will go out their way to help in any way they can. Sometimes there can be a bit of a language barrier but that’s soon resolved by a bit of Google translate. They seemed grateful for me doing this so that was nice to see. The rooms were spot on. Very clean and modern & well kept. Every day the maids would come in and do a little clean up and make beds, every other day they would change bedding and mop floors and supply us with new towels and toilet rolls. I couldn’t whinge at all, service was fantastic The all inclusive was lovely too. Don’t get me wrong some days it was sort of the same stuff but there was always something for everyone. There is also a grill where you can get steaks, burgers & hotdogs from. Food was excellent and always tasty. The pool areas were always kept very clean and every morning staff would clean up and set up for the day with the sun loungers & parasols and you didn’t need to fight over loungers as there were always plenty of them. The entertainment around the pool mid day every day was great. Always got the kids involved and also the adults. My son broke the record of the most awards won! He was happy with that. I also want to point out that the manager was really lovely too. We had to be out for 12pm but our bus transfer wasn’t until 6pm. We asked to see if we can keep the room and she informed us that there was someone due in but to leave it with her and she’ll sort it. The next morning we were able to keep the room after the manager shuffled things about. She went above and beyond to help us and make our stay great. Thanks so much for a fantastic stay. We will definitely be back

I always use this hotel, rooms are spacious and clean, friendly staff, the grounds were always nice but with recent investment and upgrades even better, the town is only a 20 minute walk or 5 minutes in a taxi, there is sometimes a little noise but it is a family hotel after all and after 10pm it tends to be quite and serene, Ana the hotel Director and her wonderful team always make me welcome.

I was really worried about coming here after bad reviews but we had the best time. Rooms were nice, we had ground floor by the park so was nice and quiet. Rooms are fairly sound proof too. The park was out of order the whole time we were there though as they were doing something to the floor. Air-con in the room was perfect. Beds were a bit strange, two singles pushed together to make a double so felt like me and my husband were sleeping separately. Fold out sofa bed for my son was fine. No coffee or tea in your room and very small coffee cups so take your own. Only downside to the room is they weren't really cleaned. We did ask the cleaners for extra towels and they kindly sneaked us some. Managed to get a late check out for about €40. You can ask for this at 8am the morning you leave. Food was okay for me, but hit and miss for my very fussy husband and fussy son who has autism. Hotdogs were vile, seemed uncooked and looked and tasted like flesh - avoid! Burgers freshly cooked and freshly cooked omelette were lovely though. Breakfast was probably the best meal of the day with lots of variety. Biggest complaint with food is the fruit flies constantly all over the salad area. The chefs kept things topped up constantly so nothing ran out. Staff were friendly with us, and one waiter found us everyday to speak Spanish with my 9 year old who is learning it at school. Drinks were okay, help yourself to coffee and water all day. AI drinks came in small plastic cups for coke etc which was a bit annoying and a waste of plastic as you then get two each instead of one. Not many staff on the bar but never waited long. Restaurant staff were mostly very friendly. The entertainment was quite naff but I didn't expect much anyway to be honest. A bit of a walk from the beach etc but taxis were very cheap. Never really had a problem getting a sunbed around the pool but we were either there early for a pool day or later in the afternoon after day trips out. Entertainment around the pool was okay, a bit repetitive. Weather (late August) was amazing and it was nice to sit outside and listen to the birds on the golf course at sunrise every morning. All in all a lovely stay, I would come back, especially for the price as it was good value, the only thing is we would prefer to be nearer the beach and busier areas next time. Villa Mandi is perfect for families who don't want things too noisy. I would recommend not having a room facing the road those as there is football practice opposite very early until very late. We had room 103 and it was the perfect location. Would really recommend Aqualand, Siam Park, Mount Teide and a visit to The Attic which has Kids Land next door in Los Cristianos if you have kids.

We’ve stayed here before (last September it was great) this time round it’s been questionable. We arrived ready to celebrate a special occasion and the room was the biggest disappointment. In an extra large 2 bedroom duplex apartment with 1 balcony and 1 terrace with only 4 chairs and a table no sun lingers! Call reception and they wast €5 euros per day for a lounger (even tho every other terrace has loungers in them! Spoke to 7 different people and they didn’t get charged for having a lounger in the balcony ♀️ no sweeping brush in the rooms, bedding been changed once in 9 days. The seats in the rooms are falling apart so much so they’ve stuck a large screw through them and it’s sticking right out the seat at the top and my 7 year old sat right on top of it. We won’t be back again that’s for sure. The pool is constantly dirty aswel (loads of black bits floating around it .
