We arrived after midnight for a quick overnight. Check in was done very efficiently by the front desk. Very friendly and pleasant. The room is a standard hotel room: clean, functional, comfortable. The walls are thin, though. We could here the coughs, conversations of the people next door. The breakfast was expansive and the staff were very efficient despite being swamped with guests. Overall a nice stay. Very close to the airport. It is a bit further away from the main tourist attractions.

We were disappointed in this hotel - just seemed like it was an old hotel that put up some wallpaper of grass and green plants in their lobby and guest rooms to LOOK NEW and eco-friendly- but in the end - is just your basic 2 star cramped old European hotel. Bathtub fixtures were OLD and tub drain kept breaking. beds were hard and amenities were few. Room on 4th floor was so noisy all night long from street noise - even with the windows closed and air-conditioning on. Lobby staff were nice - but really didnt engage or have alot of knowledge. They have the nerve to charge 10 euro each for breakfast - which we refused - and had a great breakfast literally less than 100 feet away on the corner in a lovely bakery for 3 euros each! I trusted my travel agents recommendation for this hotel- next time I will do my own research and find a much better, more comfortable hotel.

The first point goes to the breathtaking location. Everything is wellkept, the gardens around, the rooms are very confortable everyone with balcony with seaview. Soft but beautifull decoration. Staff is very pleasant. The only thing i missed were some aspects of breakfast: a lack of variety of fruits and cheese (Azores has a strong agriculture and cheese industry). Also breads could vary a bit more. But it was a lovely 4 night stay. Very positive point: bottle of delicious water in room that can be refiiled at the lobby. Superb swimming pool

Nice quiet location (you need a car), good medium plus quality hotel, friendly staff. Satnav on first arrival may get confused (I mean satnav users, of course) by two close but unconnected branches of road having the same name – you have been warned ! Slightly uninspired food (you can have supper here including a Saturday buffet, but there are better restaurants within a short drive. Wine selection very poor). Breakfast buffet typical - good fruit, poor ‘fruit juice’, best bacon I had in half a dozen Azores hotels ... if you want proper coffee rather than instant you have to ask for it. Restaurant has outdoor seating for smokers. Would recommend overall.

After leaving our first accommodation after 2 nights of a 7 night stay because of road noise we found this gem of a hotel. The reception was very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely quiet room whist still being central to all the city offered. Breakfast was nice too. Thank you for all your help.

I just returned from a three night stay at this hotel with my girlfriend and our teenage daughter. We have been countless times in S. Miguel as we consider it such a pleasant and beautiful island. This time we opted for a hotel outside the main towns and in fact we managed to do just that. At the same time it is only 20 minutes away from the airport and 15 minutes away from Ponta Delgada or Ribeira Grande, the two main towns. We already visited the nine islands of the Azores archipelago and always get a rental car at the airport (exception at Corvo Island). If you are staying in this hotel, it is paramount that you do the same. As to the hotel itself, we booked it only four weeks in advance on high season, thus we had to pay the full rate of the stay at that moment. Upon check-in on room 206, we were given two identical cards without any distinctive element, one to open the door and the other to insert into the slot for lightening. That is odd, generally, hotels give two identical keys to open the door and one of them, if necessary can be left on the slot when we are out. We were assigned a spacious accommodation with living room, bedroom and bathroom. We did not have sea view and the living room had lots of glass walls overlooking the adjacent condo. All those glasses made it very hot on the sun shining days and we had to keep the AC on during the day. The décor of the room was unstylish and lacking attention to details. The bedroom had a big closet but no clothes rail or hangers. Besides that, one of the doors of the closet could not be opened fully, because it bumped into the shelves that are installed as bedside tables. The safe was old style, that is to say, it closes with a key that we had to ask for at the reception at no charge, along with a cumbersome key ring that we had to take with us whenever we were out of the room. The living room had a well equipped kitchen, that we did not use but it was constantly patrolled by half a dozen ants. We had bought previously some good looking fruits and had to fill a big dish with water and in the middle of it we put a small dish with our fruit so that the ants weren’t able to cross the water in order to get to fruit island. The bathroom was very spacious and pleasant looking even if the washbasin was more stylish than efficient. This room lacked tremendously of a place to put one´s belongings (toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, electrical razor and so on). Amazingly no one foresaw the installation of a shelf. The social areas of the hotel such as the lobby are, again, unstylish, corridors have shabby carpeting. The room where breakfast is served has a view to an outside wall and lacks natural lightening. Breakfast itself has a reasonable variety of items, but by no means is it worth 12 euro per person per day, that in our case we were asked to paid in advance, precisely at the same moment we made the reservation. The scenery is good, a bit biased, eating is very inconvenient, the hotel restaurant is not bad. With the children to go, there is no extra bed, I received a breakfast fee of 12 euros, the facilities and breakfast of this five-star hotel is really flattering, the domestic three or four stars level, breakfast is too bad

The hotel does not have a lobby and just went in feels like a big car shop. However, the process of entering the room and after entering the room, it feels very good. The owner of the house decorated and decorated the house very tastefully. The hotel is right in the city center, you can walk on the pedestrian street and the beach, and there are Chinese restaurants and Chinese city shops not far away. Maybe it is the peak season, I feel that the room price is a bit expensive, it is estimated that it is suitable when the off-season! This is the paradise of hydrangeas, the streets are covered with hydrangea petals.
