Hotel Golf Residence

This htl ,is one of the best we have stayed in,food nice,staff excellent, soft music playing in the background,plenty of sunbeds,perfect for a relaxing holiday ,walking distance to the attractions,definitely reccomend

We stayed here for a week . Slightly apprehensive on arrival as we were the only British guests however the staff quickly made us welcome and at ease . We stayed in room 117 around the side of the hotel and was one of the newly refurbished rooms which we could not fault . We did avoid the dining room at lunch due to the disgusting eating habits of others . We enjoyed the food on offer at breakfast and evening meal . Bar staff changed the times of when the alcohol was allowed daily which was very confusing . It wasn’t made very clear what alcoholic drinks were included and what time they were available . Depending on who was serving at the time it was a case of pot luck ! If you go with an open mind and expect a budget hotel you will not be disappointed. The animation team were fab and entertaining . Smile the lovely gentleman who sells the boat ,camel and quad biking experiences became a friend . Negatives was a new lifeguard who they called pablo who was very intimidating asking for tips continuously . We witnessed a few people who avoided the pool area because of him . Overall we enjoyed our stay . It is central to the aqua park opposite and a short walk to the port which was lovely of an evening .

Never Again The Positive Points which there are not many is the Staff were excellent very friendly Thats it Negative Points rated as a 4 * only ate in the restaurant once half board couldnt eat there any more it was like being in a cattle market it was 99% algerians who are very rude and do not queue push in food even though there was utensils still used their fingers to take food out of the dishes then put back in taking lots of food and leaving most of it Do not cater for the english we were the only english couple there and stood out like a sore thumb all they do is stare right through you a terrible experience. if it had not been for another english couple who had arrived we would have been on the next available flight. 2 more couples arrived and complained we were there 2 weeks and even though we had paid for our food we had to go to other restaurants so cost us double. Can only describe this place as a hovel feel so sorry for the staff who have to put up with this shxxe the point is brits dont book this hotel you only get stressed.Also a lot of reviews are made by the same member of staff the salon and indoor pool was also closed all the time reccomend stay away from this hotel

Amazing animation team! Koukou and Ramos are amazing at their work and everyone love them. There are activities during the whole day and with them, it’s never boring in the hotel. They’re the best thing that Golf Residence has. Always willing to help and make you smile, just amazing. We miss them so much. The best Koukou and Ramos ❤️

DO NOT GO To this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing holiday it is right next to a nightclub which goes on until 04.00am every night the food is not aimed for Europeans nothing is labelled so god knows what it is lots of broken sun beds the only good thing are some of the staff ( hamed ) the lifeguard by the pool is very helpful as are the chamber maids would I return NEVER not if you paid me to go

So where do I start … Positive points: Staff very friendly and can’t fault them apart from the one staff member who thought it was funny to ask our friends wife to sleep with him when checking in.Great start to the holiday. That’s it for the positives I’m afraid Negative points: The list is endless. Sold as a 4 star hotel all inclusive Eat in the restaurant once.Iv seen better manners by the livestock at a cattle market The hotel is 99.9 % Algerian client based and should never be sold to the British public The food,and I have eaten all over the world is nothing better than shambolic and caters for the Algerian needs. Picking the food up throwing back onto the buffet trays seriously seen nothing like it. Night club at the hotel,yes we were told about this but not told about the noise from it going on until 4 am every night For the 7 days we were there a total of 4 uk families found themselves shackled to this hovel of a hotel Great that love holidays and TUI can still sell this 4 star hotel to people without telling the full story Fact is don’t book this hotel You pay to go away and de stress not here I’m afraid Oh and plenty of the good reviews on here are written by the same staff Look closely

The best animation team in tunisia thans a lot for your efforts guys , thanks for koukou and ramos you are amazing freinds . We will come back soon and i wish that you will be here , thanks again love you so much .

the best thing in this hotel is the animation team ,with ramos and koukou ,it was a very pleasant experience especially with different activities like water polo , darts,archery and very exciting other activities, and the food it just hits different it was the best experience i had in my life,you can feel that you are young and free,i will try to visit the golf residence hotel as much as i can ,all my greetings to the animation team and all the staff ,may god bless you all ❤️

Moan First - Dated but clean, Non of the facilities they advertised - only 1 bar not 3, indoor pool not used, no tea and coffee in room. No ice cream included in all inclusive. They ran out of coke and fanta ALL the time, having to resort to water alot. They ran out of beer and wine a lot as well. The man on Reception was rude. Cleanliness around the pool wasn't the best ie muddy and then being transported into the pool, the toilets at the pool was disgusting a couple of the days there was poo on the floor in the ladies. The toilets by the reception area was also disgusting most of the time as you had to wade through water to go to the loo. The food was nice when you could get it - it was like a rugger scrum especially at lunch time. The Algerians just kept pushing in and then they took so much food and then left it, there was non left for anyone else, ie they would take 25 small cakes for 4 of them and only eat about 7. All of us had an upset tummy despite being careful and I had an ear infection the whole time I was there. You are probably asking why such a good rating then? Positives The staff are amazing and so friendly. The cleanliness of the room is top notch They tried their best and couldn't do enough to please. The Manager and the waiters in the restaurant did what they could and they were top notch and friendly. The cleaners were so friendly, good and accommodating The location is top notch - Go to the Port (to die for) and the aqua park. The animation team were brilliant and although I am not a joiner they had me rolling with laughter and joining in. Smile will find you along with the Captain, we did the camel ride which was amazing but it definately is NOT in the desert and you are not riding for 3 hours. Would I go again, probably not as we have done it but I definately remember it with VERY fond memories.
