Saboaria Boutique Hotel Porto

It was one of our best hotel in Europe in the last 15 years. the room was great calming and clean with a beautiful decoration. The hotel staff was super friendly an very enjoyable to talk and the location very close to the balboa market and a short distance to the Sao bento train station. Would recommend the hotle to friends,

Just returned from a wonderful 7 night stay. Small, boutique hotel in a great location. Our room was a great size, bed was so comfy & fantastic shower. We had a balcony overlooking the beautiful garden & pool area. Staff all lovely & helpful with recommendations. Plenty of wee cafes/restaurants nearby. A few wee changes needed to meet our 5 star expectations. Our balcony seating needs renewed due to tears & mould. The hotel would benefit from a bar & restaurant for guests to enjoy. Only shampoo in shower area. Conditioner would be a good addition. The room has a small hob however no pots in the room. We had no plans on cooking so didn’t affect us. An iron & ironing board in each room would also be good rather than asking reception. Despite these, we had a lovely stay in a beautiful hotel.

Beautiful hotel, love the rooms and the backyard is magical. AMAZING breakfast. Lovely pool and most helpful staff! Massage was also nice. The play sweet live music with drinks in the backyard regularly. Location was just perfect to discover the city.

This 5 star hotel well deserves its 5 stars! From check-in to checking out all the staff were very professional, friendly and efficient. Just walking through the door we knew we had chosen a special place. Modern interiors, spotlessly clean with great facilities. A small pool and jacuzzi, which we used several times after a day of walkimg around the city. Our room was large with a small kitchenette, which was useful as we were staying a week and ate in a few nights, making use of the balcony overlooking the garden. The bed was large and extremely comfortable. Great bathroom area with fantastic walk-in shower. Fabulous selection at breakfast and freshly cooked eggs etc on request. We made use of the small pool and the jacuzzi, especially after a day of walking around the city. The hotel is well located, within a few minutes walk to the nearest Metro station and not far from one of the main shopping areas with large indoor market. The staff were helpful in suggesting restaurants, places to visit and booking taxis. All had excellent English, which was useful as we had very little Portuguese! We highly recommend this special place if you are looking for a great place to stay in Porto. We would come back just to stay again!

A gorgeous boutique hotel, hidden gem close to the Trinidade metro stop. The loveliest staff who were super helpful making reservations and suggestions for meals/trips especially Rueben and Edgar from the front desk. The garden with pools is a beautiful oasis in which to unwind after a busy day sightseeing. Live music in the garden on Fri/Sat was a lovely touch. Excellent breakfast, dreamy interiors and possibly the cleanest hotel ever (the building has ties to a soap factory and smells incredible!). Just book this and go, you won’t be disappointed!

A completely lovely experience from to finish because of delightful and earnest staff team. Well located and don’t be put off by slightly up and coming street - it is so safe and the hotel is beautifully designed with the most amazing team who cannot do enough. Breakfast is five star too. We had a room on the street side and it was silent. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful, tranquil boutique hotel with a lovely garden, spa and pool only 2 minutes walk from Trindade and the Mercado do Bolhao. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Don’t get caught out thinking the treat on your pillow is nougat (artisan soap!!) after an evening out on port! 🤣

Saboraia is a fantastic hotel. The double room was large with a spacious bathroom as well. The design is nice and makes you feel comfortable. The breakfast selection is great and they even make various eggs and sandwiches on order. Avocado sandwich with pouched egg became our favourite. The spa is rather expensive and the out-door pool and jacuzzi was to cold for us on some rainy days in March. The steam bath, however, was a hot and nice experience that we enjoyed a few times during our stay. The staff is friendly ad very service minded. This was great and we know where we will stay during our next visit in Porto.
