"Check-in was prompt, and I got the room I booked. However, I had to walk quite a distance to reach it because guests staying long-term (monthly rentals) occupy the closer rooms, meaning those staying for just one or two nights are assigned rooms further away. This isn't ideal for the elderly. The room itself was nice, but the wooden furniture and fittings were starting to show their age. The air conditioning worked well. In the bathroom, there was no screen or divider, so it was visible from the bedroom. The TV didn't work at all during my two-night stay as there was no signal. Breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade sausages. The restaurant had a beautiful view, as did the swimming pool, but the beach right in front of the hotel wasn't usable; you had to walk to the side of the property. There's no dedicated parking for cars; you have to park on the roadside, which is a hilly, winding road, so you need to be very careful."

"The room was fantastic — big, clean, with a good interior and great materials. However, the bathroom does not separate the wet and dry zones. There is a big bathtub attached to the toilet. You have to shower in the bathtub and everything gets wet The hotel seems to be short-staffed, which affects the overall service quality. The staff seemed too tired, which is why they were not very friendly. there was a lack of coordination between the breakfast area and the front desk staff. The parking area was quite limited and narrow Even though I requested special needs through the Trip App. I did not receive them."

"This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. It’s a bit smaller and more peaceful, with fewer people, which made the atmosphere really relaxing. I truly enjoyed being there every single day. All the staff were quite young and incredibly friendly, always making us feel welcome. The breakfast had a smaller selection, but everything you need was there and it was always fresh and enjoyable. The bed was honestly a 10/10 – so comfortable that it was hard to leave it. I was genuinely sad to leave this hotel and I would happily come back anytime in the future. I highly recommend staying here."

"This hotel is located on Chaweng Beach, very close to the airport. I was quite apprehensive before arriving, not knowing what to expect. But once I got there, I realized I made the right choice. The hotel is beautiful. We booked a room in the same building as the front desk, and they upgraded us to a king-size bed plus a small bed. The restaurant and villa rooms are across the street, offering breakfast with a stunning sea view every day. After breakfast, you can just grab a lounge chair and enjoy the incredible scenery, sitting there facing the ocean all day long. Most of the guests are from Europe and America. The front desk staff and restaurant servers are all very enthusiastic and helpful, answering every question. Room cleaning is also quick and thorough. The hotel offers massages at reasonable prices, and the pasta, burgers, pizzas, and drinks at the restaurant are all delicious and moderately priced. The only thing to note is that the road leading from the main street to the hotel is a bit steep with uphill and downhill sections, which can be a bit tiring if you're pulling luggage."

"Staff was very nice and very supportive! Rooms clean, but the hotel area could be more tidy up. Eg construction waste below of the beach front rooms. Maybe more plants… some renovation work could be done immediately when it happens. Complimentary tea maybe on the room . Last but not least we enjoyed the bbq night at the sea! Beside full moon we enjoyed great food from the amazing chefs and waiters. Thank you ! We keep the time in the resort in good memory!!!"

"I’m laying on a sunbed (in the shade as I write this). We read the reviews before we arrived, So here’s the latest.. Pick a room that’s right for you… As with a lot of hotels they are just off or on the main road, if you’re after tranquility you need to pick a sea view room. If you’re used to living next to a busy road (cars & moped) as we were, then the mountain side view rooms were fine for us. Family Room was large, with plenty enough space. Room was great, although if I was to be very picky, shower door and carpet could be improved, everything else in room was great. Just so you know, cars & mopeds are always going past throughout the day and night. Beach is shallow water with rough sand and small rocks beneath the water. It is a lovely spot, although you’d need to head right for a stroll before you find a less rocky beach to practically swim in. Location: head to Crystal Bay (15 min walk) or head the other direction (15 min walk). Close by is a public outdoor gym, basically in the sea. Obviously equipment is basic but you can always go to an air conditioned gym near by. Hotel service and employee are great, pool & beach towels & sunbeds provided . Breakfast is high quality geared towards healthier eating. Various yoga classes going on, which seem popular but not something we do. The usual Thai street food ,  Restaurants and 7-11 stores within walking distance."

"Beautiful looking hotel, quiet and relaxed but also just a short scooter ride away from Fisherman’s village. For everyone confused about the beach situation: there is a long bit of beach by the hotel. The hotel itseld doesn’t have beds on the beach itself, however, the beds are just above and around the pool area that overlooks the beach. If you wanna lay on the beach, in the morning there is high tide so you won’t be having much sand to lay on, still good for a swim. In the afternoon/evening there is low tide so you can put your towel down easily."

"In the heart of Lamai the hotel is perfect, stretching between the town through road and the beach, the hotels pool is standout, utterly beautiful. The beach side massages are amazing, a must do. The rooms are a little tired but clean and tidy. After losing our booking, we were held at reception for an hour on arrival, while the recovered the booking that had been given to other guests, not the best of starts, but it must happen on occasion. Lamai was the right choice for us, loads to see and do, with rides out on the bhat buses to visit the other resorts. Would return to this location one of the nicest places in Thailand"
