Overall, service and resort are eccelent, but food is not on par witgh the reest of experience. Ingredients quality on some dishes is very low, drinks dont have all neccesary components in them and in tyhe end viariety is also limited as there are 6 restaurants but only 2 are open for lunch.

We have stayed at a number of Excellence hotels and El Carmen provides great options for pools around the property.

Fabulous venue for an escape. Excellente staff, service, facilities, amenities restaurants, buffets.room service and dish pick up is excellent!. Turn down service was wonderful ans well. Evening events were thoughtful. Signature bevvies! Wonderful concierge and a special shout out to Nataniel!

Everything was perfect and I was happy to reserve this resort after searching a lot.
Do not waste your time, this was a great resort.
All staff were amazing, room was clean and big, all restaurants were delicious,….

I loved our swim-out suite and location. The resort felt "right-sized" and was easy to walk around. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The activities were in-line with what I wanted to do on a vacation.
