I visited the hotel for a short vacation with family and friends. Let's talk about why we can give 10/10 marks for a place but with some important notes. The first to meet was of course the reception. The check in was easy and fast and the guy was helpful. The room was on third floor. Nice and spacious Equipped with a flat TV screen (not best quality one, poor satellite channels) but the view was extraordinary (will leave some photos) Unfortunately, we had no water at the bathroom. We called the reception and they fixed it immediately. All bar guys were excellent and always smiling, but Mohammed at the lobby bar should be given 5 stars, he prepares a very good, non-alcoholic mojito 😅 The room service guys are also excellent, they brought us a kettle, multiple choices of hot and cold drinks, even a basket of fruits, and bunch of flowers everyday, want to thank them all even i don't know the names. The real asset of this place is really their nice guys. The hotel has anice marina and beach, very quiet and comfortable. There is also 3 pools, always clean. Gym also was really nice What i didn't like is the restaurant:: Want to know what over-cooked food looks like 😅 you are at the perfect place 🤣. I could understand that cost-control guys are restricting the food choices, but couldn't understand why a chief could leave the chicken on the grill until it is really woody !! The outdoor grill man should be replaced ! The chief should reconsider what he really does ! On the other hand, Pasta chief was always great Salads are also OK

Getting to Marsa Alam from the UK is always a bit on an effort ( unless you are willing to pay through the nose via TUI) but so worth it for a scuba diving family. Having stayed at the amazing Brayka in May, we had seen the Aurora and decided due to local recommendations to give it a go. Organised the booking via the Internet, our every need was sorted upon arrival. A welcome cool drink 🍸 and a broad smile introduction from the amazing Ali on reception. Our rooms ( junior 2 bedroom suite) were just perfect. Recently decorated perfectly suited to us with our adult daughter. Food in our room was welcomed and simply filled rolls and fruit. Extra water we asked for due to medical issues was supplied as asked for. The restaurant has the usual egg station, bread/bakery selection, hot self service and salad /yogurt . Nectar ( made up fruit juice and water coolers) tea/coffee . Something available to everyone's taste. The guys service ( Mohommed Alla etc) is impeccable. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The hours they do from dawn to dusk. From bar to table service. All with a smile. Not once were we asked for tips ( a dollar is gratefully accepted) but we gave frequently. Its hard not to when the service is so good. Even the hard working animation team were smiley and greeting guests at almost every meal with an itinerary of entertainment available to those who want it. The beach is a short walk away. ( I've recently had a knee op and managed no bother) It's just stunning. A selection of little gifts vendors sell, and a restaurant offering the usual chips /pizza/burger/kebab/ soup /salad station. Bar for all your drinks and ample bed space for sunbathing. All this and a stunning house reef for snorkeling, featuring Sheldon the resident 🐢. If you're lucky enough to see him ( recommend early morning) DONT USE HIM AS A SURF BOARD . Broke 💔 as certain Eastern European guests grabbed him for a ride and a selfie. Watch and do not touch should be fairly obvious. Can't recommend Ducks Diving Superior enough for trips and Scuba. Big shout to Omar and Mohammed ( Collosus) the guys that help you kit up shoreside for house reef diving. Lucky enough to meet the Amazing Saif ( instuctor) who taught our daughter her Open and Advanced water PADI. Having met quite a few instructors/guides in our time Saif is by far the BEST we have had by far. And then some. His English is impeccable, as are his manners. Big shout out too to the driver of the cylinders, who also picked us up /dropped us off most days. A real gentleman who shared the most amazing mango we had ever eaten, and mosquito spray for our room ! So kind !! We were very sad to leave our newly made friends and new ”family”. Can't fault anything. From senior management to cleaners...Aurora....thank you ...and see you soon 😊

Just back from Egypt and spent the last 5 days here, highly recommended! We arrived on Jan 6 and by chance the dinner was promoted due to east European festival, had really extraordinary experiences. The food of course in the other days were good as well of course. :-) The private beach is cool, excellent for the snorkeling. The water was not very cold and I was kind of weak therefore got wet suit, so everything is fine. And do ask the lifeguard where the sea cow is! Actually there could be many programs to have a day trip or so, in the hotel there are also plenty programs to join in like Yoga and beach volleyball. They have nearly live show also everyday. While I preferred to enjoy 3 meals, beach and go snorkelling since it is fantastic for me already. :P Moreover, the team of Hilton Marsa Alam is great. Ashraf, Hussein, and team helped me a lot, and they are super nice and ready for help all the time. The room is super clean and I was promoted to a sea-view huge room and the bed is over 2 meters I think it is a Cleopatra bed :DDD By the way you could take GoBus to arrive the hotel if you do not need much to take taxi or so. Or like us, we came actually from Luxor and took a ride (private pickup truck, 2ppl 50 egyptian pound) near Marsa Alam to the hotel. I guess not many chose our way. Again, highly recommended. And thank you so much, I wish I could be there soon.
