Haka House Queenstown Lakefront

Great stay, the room was very clean. Although the toilet and bathroom are shared, they were kept immaculate and cleaned regularly every day, which was wonderful. Towels were also replaced every two days.

The location is great, just a ten-minute walk from Queenstown city center, and there's also a bus stop nearby. Lake Wakatipu is right outside, offering beautiful scenery that's perfect for a stroll day or night. The six-person room was relatively clean and serviced daily, but it was quite small, making the stay feel a bit cramped. The kitchen was very functional.

Great location by the lake, with the esplanade right outside the room. Parking is a bit of an issue though; you need to arrive early to snag a spot, and street parking isn't allowed overnight.

The bed and duvet were really soft and comfortable for sleeping. Although it's a bit far from the city center (about 1 kilometer), it's acceptable. The hotel doesn't provide free bath towels, but you can rent them at the front desk. There's a 2-in-1 shampoo and shower gel provided.

The self-check-in machine was easy to use, making check-in a breeze. I really appreciated having a hairdryer in the shower and toilet room. The shared spaces and bunk beds were also very clean. I would definitely want to stay here again if I come back to Queenstown. The photos show the view from the small window in my room and a picture of the lake outside.
