The hotel features modern facilities and an excellent location. There's a fantastic bubble tea shop right across the street, and a highly-rated Chinese restaurant, considered the best in the local area, is just a short walk away. The cleanliness is also superb.

Layout of room was kind of strange. The bed is on a weird platform that might be difficult to navigate for less agile people, or those who are sleepy or otherwise impaired. Bathroom was overly small.
It has a kitchenette, but no microwave. The location is in the heart of the most touristy part of Reykjavik.
This is the third hotel I’ve stayed in while traveling to Reykjavik. The others, both lower priced, were not afflicted with the smell of sulphur (rotten eggs) in the water. It is possible to filter this out, and a person paying the price this hotel is asking should be able to expect better quality water.
If you want to be in the thick of the tourist action and don’t mind smelly water, this place is OK. Otherwise…
This center bar hotel is much newer. Although the room is not big, it is very comfortable to stay in. The attitude of the lady at the front desk is also very good.

The hotel is in a good location! The hotel linens in Northern Europe are as good as always! The front desk service is polite and thoughtful! What I didn't expect was that there were cookies in the room! Drinking a cup of coffee, it was like recharging, and immediately immersing myself in the beautiful scenery of Iceland! It's a pity that the sky is not beautiful! I didn't see the northern lights! But the northern lights are rare! I have seen them in Saariselka, Lapland, Finland in March 2018!

Great little hotel right in the middle of downtown Reykjavik. The hotel is amongst loads of great bars and restaurants - so our room was a little noisy being on the street side but we slept through it :) If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. Room was small but fine for the 3 nights we stayed. Hotel staff are really friendly. Breakfast, which is included in your room rate, is fantastic. Breakfast room is also available to lounge in all day until 8pm so it's a nice place to drink a bottle of wine 😁🍷 Please note my photos of room were taken when we were leaving which is why it looks messy. The room was perfectly clean and tidy when we arrived 🙂

Excellent location, so easy to get to where we wanted and needed to, especially we booked bus tours for 3 days, we were able to be picked up and dropped off at Bus Stop #1 that is located at City Hall where is only a few minutes away from hotel. It helped a lot when it’s raining. Only downside was the breakfast started @ 7 am which is bit late for early travelers, so the breakfast area was packed in the early morning. Maybe hotel should change its setting to let two rows of people picking up their breakfasts at the same time.

The room is small, early, the location is very good, the commercial street is next to it, and the cathedral is also close. Is it okay to be in a hotel like Iceland? It is best not to face the street in the room, the bar outside has been noisy until late.

The location is good, end of the main shopping street in Reykjavik city centre. However, limited parking space and you have to find an empty space according to their map as public free parking on different streets. We are lucky to park our car at the back of the hotel when one just left. Otherwise, need to move our luggage far away to the hotel. Gym and spa required extra charges at ISK3500 per person for hotel customers, and we didn't enjoy it as too tired that day.
