Kex Hostel

This hotel boasts an excellent location, just across the road from the ocean, and the sea-facing lounge areas on each floor are absolutely stunning. The elevator is now fixed, so there's no need to worry about heavy luggage. There are two floors dedicated to dorm rooms and two floors with standard rooms. The dorm floors also have plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen is clean and staff clean it daily. I stayed for a week and encountered three different front desk staff members, all of whom were incredibly friendly and even helped me book tours over the phone. This hotel offers amazing value for money – highly recommend it for a stay in Reykjavik!

The room's location is excellent, right in the city center of Reykjavik. We just needed a place to crash for our last night before flying out. The facilities are a bit old, not super new, but everything was spotless. It was a decent stay.

Hands down the best hostel in Iceland! The common areas are incredibly clean, and the private bathrooms with showers are a huge plus. It's super warm inside – almost too warm! The bedding is really soft, and the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking.
