Storm Hotel by Keahotels

Great place. The staff were super friendly. We checked in late and the process was very quick. They also booked us a taxi last minute to the Sky Lagoon, the taxis are pricey in Iceland so try and check beforehand the time you book your lagoon. The hotel also had a decent spread for breakie, only downside was the size of the kitchen /eating area so would recommend to not go during peak hours for breakfast. We also went during a snow storm and the hotel was very warm and cosy. They allow luggage storage.

The hotel room was neat, clean, and comfortable.

We are a traveling family of eight (8).  I arrived early with all of our luggage, probably 15-17 pieces.  The taxi driver dropped the luggage in front of the hotel.  I am 85 years old, my wife is 82.  I went in, and was informed that there was no luggage service available, even though there were several young able bodied males (doing nothing) at the front desk.  It took me 16 trips to get luggage in…… while your front desk personnel just watched.  Human beings should really take care of seniors better than that!! Is that some special ‘policy’ of the hotel to treat guests like that?   After bring them all in, I was told to “move them” because it was too close to computer.    How would you feel?  Re amenities, no tissue in our room.  Is that REALLY an amenity?   Or is it a requirement?   I would certainly appreciate a response.  The Moritz Family

Room is very cold n ceiling crack. Knocking start every morning at 9 am

Staff are friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast is good

the place was perfect and clean also it was quite. The breakfast was tasty  I would come back again. 

Very clean hotel and friendly helpful staff. Would have liked breakfast to have opened at 6am instead of 7am.

Hotels are pricey anywhere in reykjavik, but the convenient # 12 bus stop across makes up for it
