Lindos Blu Luxury Hotel-Adults Only

My husband and I have just returned from 10 days staying at Lindos Blu. Right now all we could wish for is to be back swimming in the beautiful crystal blue sea. We loved our stay at Lindos Blu and the reviews about the wonderful staff did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived late at night we were greeted by Christi who welcomed us and showed us to our room. Check in was speedy and efficient which is what you want after a long and delayed flight. From our very first breakfast we were greeted daily by Emilia who was just so friendly and helpful as were all of the restaurant staff. Every morning we would witness past guests returning to hugs and warm welcomes from the staff which is testament to what wonderful staff the hotel has, and the main reason why guests keep returning. We loved our days on the beach, in fact it was the first holiday my husband and I didn’t swim in a pool as the sea was just so beautiful warm and clear. Our beach days were made all the more brilliant by the fabulously helpful Yannis and Nikos who worked tirelessly all day fetching, carrying, chatting, ferrying guests to and from rooms, bringing food and drinks, lifting sun beds and just being the hardest working 2 beach attendants I’ve ever witnessed on a holiday. Nothing was too much, and they did it with a smile and a chat and in the heat. We only ate an evening meal in the restaurant once as we wanted to go out and about. We ate at Gaea which is just along the beach at the sister hotel Lindos Aqua Terra. This meant we could walk there and not get any taxis. Gaea is a gorgeous restaurant with a Balinese vibe and stunning interiors. The menu is lovely and food divine. Here we met George who works in the restaurant as a manager and was super helpful and friendly. He gave us recommendations to hire a car to see some of the beautiful island. He helped us with where to park in Rhodes old town, where to shop, gave us several stunning sandy beach recommendations, and a beautiful sea food restaurant to visit. He was so helpful and friendly we wouldn’t have seen any of this without his advice and recommendations. So thank you George for that - it truly made our holiday seeing so much more of the island for a few days. We found by hiring a car for 2 days was cheaper than a return taxi to Rhodes old town so it definitely paid off and we saw and did so much. We went to Lindos twice - which was easy and quick and cheap to do in a taxi. €10 there and €8 back. Though one evening we did have to wait 30 mins for a taxi from the hotel with some guests giving up and saying they’d go the next night. We also ate at Stefano restaurant in Kiotari a village about 20 mins away which was delicious and run by the most amazing family. This was another one of George’s recommendations and another part of the island for sum to see. Wow, wow, wow!! This is quite possibly the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The location is perfect – just outside Lindos town, so it’s very very peaceful. The private beach is just lovely - bottled water provided, comfortable beds and loungers, waiter service, no kids, and crystal clear water!! Our room was just beautiful, the view was unbelievable. Room was serviced twice a day, clean beach towels every day. On arrival there was a surprise cake and champagne in our room as it was our 10th Wedding Anniversary!! Despoina (Debbie) on reception was wonderful, and helped us with car hire, taxis, transfers, restaurant recommendations etc. Breakfast is on a beautiful terrace overlooking the infinity pool and the sea. The food is so good and the staff so attentive. Special mention to the lovely Rania who made us feel so special, she even taught us some Greek every morning! We ate in the restaurant twice and it was honestly absolutely fantastic and Manolis looked after us superbly. We can’t wait to go back!!

Bit late writing this review, as I totally forgot! We absolutely loved every second of staying at this beautiful hotel. The staff are the best we have ever come across, always happy, friendly and helpful and always knew who you were, nothing was too much trouble, which totally made this holiday one of the best we have ever had. The rooms are lovely, the food was fantastic as were the cocktails, which we had on the lovely balcony at the bar area every night before dinner, whilst watching the sunset. The two pool areas were lovely and it was the most relaxed holiday we have had. We are currently looking for this year’s holiday and really wanted to try another Greek Island, but we keep being drawn back to Lindos Blu, so expect to see us again in June!

Another amazing stay at Lindos Blu, albeit this year under exceptional circumstances due to to the wild fires. As soon as we arrived we were greeted as long lost friends by the ever attentive team led by resident manager Nikos, who really is a absolute credit to this resort. The true sign to the strength of this resort is every staff member exhibits the same sky high standards in service and satisfaction levels. All new staff fit seamlessly into the team. The hotel continue to invest in upgrades to keep the resort first class. Brand new state of the art gym equipment, stylish, comfortable sun loungers and and a new buggy to safely transport all guests to the beach and back if required. A real special mention to some outstanding service from Anastasia, Manolis and Vangellis. The reception team equally brilliant in booking all our restaurants. Any other request never too much trouble. When the fires caused an evacuation the hotel dealt with the situation calmly and put every guest into an air condition mini bus to take us all to a safe destination. Even though the fires were never threatening to this hotel’s location, an evacuation order was issued by authorities and the hotel excelled in an extremely challenging situation. The hotel even packed our cases and sent them onwards so we could travel home with all of our belongings!!! Thank you Nikos and see you soon!!

The best hotel we have stayed in! From arrival the staff greeted us from the minute we arrived and made a great start to our stay. The views are incredible and breathtaking. All staff members are incredibly polite and attentive too. Breakfast is fantastic with a great selection available. The whole hotel is pristine and I could not fault anything. The walk to the beach is 5 mins tops and definitely recommend for a relaxing atmosphere. We are sad to be leaving but know we will be back. We have just returned from a much needed 12 night stay at lindos blu. From the moment we walked through the front doors we felt utterly relaxed. The staff at lindos blu are an absolute credit to this amazing hotel. From the cleaners who expertly kept our room refreshed with daily water and chocolates right upto Nikos who expertly manages his team to make all his guests feel lime royalty. The ladies on the front desk will attend to any needs you require. Inesse keeps a keen eye on her fantastic staff at breakfast, remembering our favourite Greek snack to go with our daily fruit and honey. The ladies remembering your particular favourite choice of coffees and even the amounts of juice required. We thank everyone of them for setting our day off in such a relaxing way. We spent everyday down on the private beach. It is a small walk down and up, but a few lifts help that travel. We were looked after daily by Yannis. He works that beach so expertly, reminding you “ It’s that time” so he can order our favorite tipple, a margarita in my case ! He never changed his friendliness or efforts in such high temperatures, and always smiling. The sea was amazing this year, often so flat and warm. We had a lovely meal in 5 senses on lobster night expertly served by Nikos and his team with a great recommendation of wine. We ate most nights in Lindos which was a short €10 ride away. After our dinner wherever every night we went to the bar where amazing memorable cocktails were produced by Vangelis, and his new right hand man George, whos producing some great cocktails trained by the best. We met old and new guests at lindos, who all of which make our holidays there the best. You will never be disappointed in your choice of booking lindos blu, it truly is an amazing hotel which is evident by the amount of returning guests who all feel the same. Back for our fifth visit and almost certain to go back in 2024, so you'll realise we like the place. We judge other hotels by the standards of service, food and cleanliness at Lindos Blu and have yet to find one that meets them, let alone exceeds them. In the six years since our first visit, we've stayed in many, both in Greece and elsewhere.

Just looked on their website advertising all this luxury, when we arrived it was for a special birthday Ienquired about suite & was told it didn’t exist, plus because it was end of season the food was really poor, overall the hotel was super clean but lacking any entertainment on last 3 nights there was no atmosphere at all, if we had paid a sensible price I wouldn’t have minded but maybe because it was half term it cost the same as Caribbean holiday, & we were only half board The website was not the experience we had

Actually a bit late to write review (2 years). This is a beautifully designed hotel with really pretty rooms. Our room was spacious, had a pool, which was shared with other rooms. View from room was stunning, overlooking sea. Food was exceptional. Beach was beautiful but I did not like that it was actually quite far from room and you had to cross the street to get there. Great service, as it always is the case in Greece. Location is very convenient for Lindos that has some very nice rooftop restaurants
