"An absolutely amazing guesthouse in Lijiang! So comfortable! I'm so proud of myself for finding such a beautifully designed guesthouse with incredibly spacious rooms and brand-new facilities! To get such a fantastic room for just over 500 RMB really makes me think I'm an expert at choosing places! We were traveling with elderly parents and children, so we booked two rooms. Each room was probably around 40-50 square meters. The twin suite, in particular, gave everyone their own space, which was incredibly comfortable. The aesthetics were also excellent, and all the amenities felt high-quality, with great attention to detail, even down to the bathroom sink design! The kids' room was also very cozy, and the baby's toiletry kit and slippers were of excellent quality. As soon as my little one entered, they immediately dived into the tent to play – 100 points! What's more, there's a parking lot right on the ground floor of the guesthouse, which is perfect for self-driving travelers like us coming to Lijiang. The lobby on the second floor is also very well-designed. The 8th floor has a cafe and a terrace; although small, it's very cozy with lots of succulents and beautiful views. Plus, afternoon tea and evening tea around the stove are all complimentary. There's also an area on the 8th floor where you can DIY your own rubbings, which is very ethnically distinctive and fun – kids would surely love it! This place is truly exceptional! Highly recommended!"

Took my mom out for a trip and saw Aling's live stream on Douyin. She came across as very practical, genuine, and unpretentious, so we decided to stay for a few days. Overall, it was a really good experience. As soon as you enter the courtyard, there's a water feature with koi fish, which gives a vibrant and lively feel. The two young men working there were incredibly attentive and patient in answering our questions, and their demeanor was very refined. We also had the good fortune to meet a compatible travel couple, Sister Liu and her husband, at Aling's place. It felt like such a serendipitous encounter for people from the north and south to meet here. In the evening, we gathered in Aling's courtyard to chat, drink tea, and share our travel experiences. It was truly delightful. Thank you, Aling, for bringing us all together!

**Excellent Stay with Outstanding Hospitality** I had a wonderful experience during my recent stay at Liqiang. From the moment I arrived, the level of service exceeded my expectations. The highlight of my visit was the exceptional hospitality provided by our host, Mr. Sing, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. He was incredibly caring and attentive throughout our stay, taking the time to help arrange our itinerary and providing valuable local insights. Mr. Sing's assistance was invaluable - he personally helped us with our luggage from the main entrance all the way up to the hotel, which we greatly appreciated. His local knowledge really enhanced our trip, as he introduced us to excellent dining options and guided us to the best shopping areas in the vicinity. The genuine care and attention to detail shown by our host Mr. Sing made our stay not just comfortable, but truly memorable. I would highly recommend Liqiang to anyone looking for a place that combines good accommodations with outstanding personal service. Thank you to Mr. Sing for making our visit so enjoyable!

The room was a bit small, but the view was unbeatable! The service was incredible! Super highly recommend. There were four of us traveling with a lot of luggage. As soon as we arrived, five strong men came and carried a suitcase each on their shoulders. Later, the owner's recommendations for bars and restaurants were all delicious, and they responded instantly to any questions we had – absolutely no duds. From the room, you could see a panoramic view of the ancient city, and on a clear day, you could even see the snow-capped mountains.

We love it here, it was our highlight in Lijiang Ancient Town, the hosts were all friendly, the rooms were as advertised, free airport pickup, complimentary tea and fruits, cleanliness was spotless, spacious and advanced. Had a small cute rooftop for the view. The hosts however were our highlight, we felt genuinely cared for, they ensured our safety and comfort. Every time we are clueless they never fail to give their best to help us, ensure we have a good time, provided all relevant information, gave tips so we don’t get scammed by extreme high prices. At the end of the journey we felt like we made friends along the way, would definitely recommend and come again. Big thanks to Ah Azhong for being our host, we were grateful for your service. The place is located near the north gate but there is a closer exit/shortcut about 10 - 15 mins that is more accessible towards the didi areas in comparison to the main location entrances in the map.

Miyue Courtyard Villa was such a delightful surprise! The hotel's Naxi-style architecture, with individual houses, immediately gave us a vacation vibe. It's truly beautiful. The complimentary travel photography experience was fantastic, and the kids loved the private hot spring pool so much they didn't want to get out. There's also a farm where you can feed rabbits, pick vegetables, play on the outdoor trampoline, and enjoy the large lawn. It really felt like a place where you could just relax and unwind without leaving the hotel. Our butler, Elin, was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. We definitely want to stay here again!

If you're visiting Lijiang's Shuhe Ancient Town, you absolutely cannot miss the amazing Guanxin Inn! The environment here is beautiful, with lush greenery in the courtyard and fresh air that instantly helps you relax. The bedding in the rooms is exceptionally comfortable – a good night's sleep here will leave you feeling completely refreshed! The service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive; no matter what you need, they'll help you out, making you feel as warm and welcome as if you were at home. Step outside the inn and you can immediately experience the ancient town's unique charm and leisurely pace of life, making it perfect for a relaxing vacation and capturing some great photos! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and immersive experience of Lijiang's culture!

The most popular 'Water Pavilion' overlooking the snow-capped mountains on the internet really drew me in, so I decided to check into Jinmao for this unique beautiful view. The environment is absolutely stunning; the hotel is courtyard-style with a beautiful lake view. Although it was a cloudy day and I didn't get to see the snow mountains, which was a bit disappointing, the overall stay was excellent, especially the attentive service. They proactively asked about our needs and promptly mailed back an item we left behind.

The best hotel we stayed at during our entire trip to Yunnan. We got a free upgrade from the owner, and the benefits that come with the room were aplenty (afternoon tea, great breakfast set, a tea-making session etc). The owner also helps us buy a nice, affordable day tour to Dali, which we enjoyed tremendously. The hotel itself is new and spacious, and our room has the view of a peaceful small river. The surrounding area is serene and quiet, with a handful of quaint cafes, restaurants and bars. It feels like a complete contrast of the other commercial side of Lijiang. Overall, we loved the stay. Will definitely recommend this our friends.

I was a bit worried before checking in because of reviews mentioning outdated facilities, but I had a really good experience after staying there. The staff were generally very enthusiastic, and they even offered free oxygen tubes for people with altitude sickness, which was a nice touch. It's also very close to Shuhe Ancient Town, within walking distance. Pretty good! It would be even better if the restaurant had more stir-fry options. I also hope the single villas will offer twin beds, which would be more convenient for guests traveling with a companion.

This was truly a unique experience! The price was great, the environment was lovely, and the service was incredibly thoughtful. The front desk lady meticulously explained how to see the 'sunrise over the golden mountains' and how to explore Lijiang. The best part? The guesthouse owner turned out to be from my hometown in Chongqing, and even our neighbor! What a small world, you couldn't make this up. We drank tea in the afternoon and had drinks together in the evening – they were so incredibly hospitable! 😍 Next time I'm in Lijiang, I'm definitely staying here again. The emotional value was off the charts! 💯 Below are some real photos I took this morning. Friends, if you're going to Lijiang, this guesthouse should be your top choice.
