"The hotel was poorly prepared for the festival season. I arrived at 4 p.m., an hour after my scheduled check-in time, only to be told that my room was not ready and that I would need to wait another 50 minutes. I waited in the lobby for about an hour, but the room was still not available. The staff asked for my phone number so they could call me once it was ready, as I had to leave to meet a friend. They eventually called around 6:30 p.m. to let me know the room was prepared.
When I returned to the hotel after dinner, I discovered there was no drinking water in the room. At first, I assumed this might be part of an ESG initiative, but I later had to go out late at night to buy water. On the second day, the staff gave me half a dozen bottles, and I realized they had simply forgotten. That was not the only oversight—they also forgot to close the balcony door. As a result, the room was extremely humid despite the air conditioning running at full power. I initially assumed the humidity was due to being near the sea, but on the second day I noticed the balcony door behind the curtain had been left partially open.
Overall, the hotel seemed overwhelmed by the large number of visitors attending the beer festival. The location is convenient for the beach, though public transportation, such as the metro station, is a bit farther away. The facilities are somewhat dated and lack modern features such as fancy toilet seats, but the rooms are fairly spacious, likely because the hotel is not in the city center."
