"I recently stayed in room 3129 at this hotel and overall, I had a good experience. The location is excellent as it sits right in front of the beach. The hotel also has a hot spring which is a nice addition, although some areas were not functioning properly due to being broken. The reception staff was very attentive and friendly, particularly one male employee. However, it seemed that the female staff members were not as willing to work. I highly recommend trying the massage services offered at the hotel. I had a neck and back massage which left me satisfied. The breakfast buffet was decent and the dining room supervisor and the reception staff at the buffet were friendly and hardworking. Most of the cooks and servers provided good service. I would also recommend paying for the dinner buffet as it offers a wide variety of seafood. The only downside was a young grill cook who lacked proper manners when I asked a question about the food. He responded lazily and rudely. Additionally, there was a young waitress with a tattoo on her leg who seemed uninterested in working. While the rest of her colleagues were cleaning and setting up tables, she would simply join them and sit down or play with her mobile phone. In terms of the room, the cleanliness was below the minimum standard. It was quite neglected, as they only mopped the floor and it still wasn't clean. There were hairs from previous guests throughout the room. The private hot spring in the room could also use some improvement. "J had a lovely stay at the Argyle resort and the fact that you just need to cross the parking lot to get to the Dongshan Bathing Spot is definitely amazing! There are some tourist attractions close by, but very far from historical sites. The room was ok, but it looked different from the pictures. Probably a bit of mold on the wall or water damage, dirty windows, and a piece of the wardrobe door was broken. Not what I would expect at a resort. The breakfast had so many options, but very few western choices, limited to sliced bread, butter and jam, yogurt, fruits and coffee. The coffee machine always had an issue, but the staff quickly came to fix it. During my stay there, everyday someone complained about the coffee maker. One of the things that I found really nice is that every day they would bring or leave fruit in my room. But on the last day, I was sleeping, and someone came in. She did apologize, but it was weird having someone in your room while you’re there. In terms of amenities, they have everything really! From shower cap to razors. And the blow dryer was really good! Because it was golden week, the staff was overwhelmed with work (lots of guests and weddings) and they didn’t talk about the facilities - gym, pool, hot springs."

"Marriott Resort is a bit far away from city. It is in a new area called Seatopia. There is KFC and Pizza Hut right in front. Hotel also has many food options. Nearby beach is clean but winds are sometimes disturbing. If you like to stay in peace far from crowd, then it is an ideal place."
