"It is more like a smart hostel so not there were not many people helping, but our CityHost Jed was very helpful and helped us with our check-in. The facilities were very clean and complete with everything one would need for a stay, including towels, shampoo and even a bath robe was provided. It was worth the money and would definitely stay there again!"

"The location of the hotel is the only good thing about the hotel. Front office sucks an they try to charge you for late check out. There are only 2 elevators in the hotel and you will not be able to check out on time as the elevators are always full and the front desk will force to charge you a late check out fee. Such a stupid hotel policy. I stayed at the James hotel less than 100m away and its way better in the service and comfort of the room. The urban residences is dated, old and the glassware are chipped ! Will never stay again"

"The room was clean, with a window facing the main street. Although the room wasn't huge, it was perfectly adequate, and the bathroom was spacious. I particularly loved the open-concept integrated clothes rack in the room – it was super functional and much more convenient than traditional wardrobes, plus it held a lot. The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to the Queen's department store. It's excellent value for money, and I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Rotterdam!"

"There was a cigarette butt on the floor in the room! We arrived on the day of the annual summer carnival, so the roads were closed and it was incredibly crowded – we could barely move. Getting to the hotel meant pushing through crowds and parade-goers, it was an absolute nightmare! If it had been a normal day, it would have been about a 15-minute walk from the train station. They required a credit card deposit for check-in. I stayed two nights and was charged 100 Euros."
