This was our first stop on our way down to Dijon, so we were pleasantly surprised to find this interesting little 'Chambres d'Hôtes' in the middle of the town. Apart from a well appointed suite of rooms (bedroom, bathroom, shower room) one of the best things about this place was the recommendation to walk across town to have dinner at 'Chez Jean' (see separate review). Having had a good nights sleep we were offered a splendid breakfast choice of croissants and yogurt etc or eggs and bacon, which I chose, which was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend this place for an overnight stop.

We stayed here twice as part of journey down to (and back from) Provence. On both occasions we found the room clean and comfortable. The owner Carole was very friendly and helped us with parking our car overnight in the car park opposite. Breakfast was fresh and tasty with the options of eggs and bacon should you wish. It is 5 minutes walk into the centre of St Quentin so easy to find somewhere for dinner. Recommended.

Fantastically understated boutique hotel. Carole, the hostess, obviously has an eye for a mix of superb art combined with top level accommodation. Right from the start she helped us get settled in and then we were left to our own devices. I don’t think there’s a bar in the hotel, but you’re so well placed in the city that it really doesn’t matter. Each room is themed. Our room theme was travel - from an old travelling suitcase as a suitcase stand to pith helmets as bedside light lampshades. Tea and coffee in the room, hairdryer, free WiFi, fantastic bedding etc and the added bonus of a beautiful courtyard to relax in. Breakfast is not to be missed either. Superb. Thank you Carole and team.

Excellent location with parking opposite hotel. Breakfast includes fresh pressed orange juice, pastries, delicious bread and cooked options. V comfy bed and good shower. Room small but adequate. Small back yard to sit in. No hesitation to recommend

We were looking for an overnight stay on the way south. We were given a friendly and helpful welcome, but after 5.00pm which is their earliest. There is a car park over the road which is free after 5.30 and Madame has a key to let you in and out. She offered me private parking but the public one seemed very safe to me and was so convenient. Our room was quite quirky but good sized, clean and comfortable. We had a key to let ourselves back in after a meal at the nearby central square. The town is unpretentious but pleasant enough on a sunny evening. Breakfast was very good with yoghurt, fruit and egg and bacon. I am gluten intolerant and Madame had got in some GF bread especially which was much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an overnight stay here, as was visiting Savy War cemetery to lay flowers on my Great uncles Grave. This hotel is very impressive, quirky spotlessly clean and a lovely fresh breakfast. Parking the car for free in the carpark opposite was great. The location right in the centre, all walking distance. And thankyou Carol for posting our jackets back to us.

Lovely property. Clean and comfortable. We found close, on street parking. Great communication from the host and she met us upon arrival. We ordered the breakfast basket which was at our door the next morning, with the hot food (eggs, oatmeal) arriving at our door about 15 minutes later. Delicious breakfast and very personalized. Highly recommend.

Carole is a very helpful considerate host, coping well with our increasingly delayed ETAs. We had a lovely well-appointed room (a suite actually) with a comfortable bed. Convenient public parking is right across the street. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious.
