All in all, a fantastic vacation at Club Med Martinique. This was our fourth Club Med having previously visited Guadeloupe, Ixtapa and Punta Cana. The village is spread out and never felt crowded. We much prefer this all-inclusive village style over rows and rows of hotels lining a beach. Yes, it can be quite the walk from the water sports hut to the paddle courts but it's a beautiful one. A lot of activities on offer so there was never a dull moment. We did 1 organized offsite excursion by speedboat that was amazing and we rented a car one day to visit rhum and banana plantations. The room: Even though we did not have a "renovated room", we were very happy with our 700 series room on the top floor with a beautiful sea view. To be honest, I don't think even the more upscale rooms had this view! Our rooms were clean, the AC worked well, so did the safe, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was great! We even had a drying rack in the shower which was nice to dry wet bathing suits. Our housekeeper, Danielle, was simply amazing! In fact, all the housekeeping staff we would run into were always smiling and cheerful. The food: The main buffet was good but we've definitely had better at other Clubs. There was variety and certainly something for everyone. We never had to fight to find a table and spent most of our time in the beach front dining room. Self service for most drinks and don't be shy to ask the server to leave the bottle of wine if you plan to have more than one glass. The table service restaurant, le Lo, requires reservations made at breakfast and they seem to only take 80-100 guests a night (if they are open). Unless you plan to spend extra for the Lobster or Steak, I'd give it a pass. While it was nice to be served, and it was a quieter a**osphere, the food at the buffet was better. The GOs: To be fair, I think week we were there was the last week for many GOs and a transition was taking place. Our kids enjoyed the Teen Club even though it wasn't well advertised. Our previous experience at other Clubs certainly helped here so we knew it existed and sought it out as many GO's were unaware one was running the week we were there. The GO's who ran the snorkeling and evening sunset paddle board excursions were great. Water skiing is a highlight at this Club and lineups were short as they ran two boats with your choice of skis and wakeboards. That said, the GOs at this Club were not as engaging as our previous experiences. The Beach: Amazing! Snorkeling right off the resort and their iconic dock is excellent. We never had trouble finding chairs and a shady spot and even took part in some ocean aquafit. While we had water shoes, many guests did not and seemed fine if they stayed in the sandy sections. We definitely saw sea urchins in the corals and sea**** areas. As for "sand fleas/mosquitos", this was never an issue though there were warnings everywhere. We'd be gone by 6pm and while we were bitten a few times, nothing unexpected for a

We had a good time. if you speak French it's a dream vacation. if not. it will be very lonely. The beach was nice, not a lot of shoreline. Food was ok. same meals every night and not an option to eat like a beach shack. The 1 time barbecue was awesome. should have had it every day.

Had a wonderful week-plus stay at this Club. Great weather, good food, lots of warm smiles. Despite not speaking French at all, we tried to speak it and felt it was appreciated whenever interacting with French speaking folks. Renovated room was very clean, each bedside had USB and USB-c outlets in wall outlet, and the desk area and one of each as well; you can leave some wall adapters home. Room has a mini fridge, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. The room safe is keyed to your wrist FOB. The beach is wonderful. Great sand areas, gentle waves. Get up early for good shaded areas on the beach. There’s some decent snorkeling right off the beach, saw a good variety of critters, including a dancing crab at one of the beach parties. Loved the food. Always found something great. Bartenders were very friendly. Grounds and common areas are well kept with a warm mature look, which I enjoy.

This is a pretty nice place for club holidays. The food is remarkable, the drinks and cocktails are limitless. More, the club chief has charisma and I guess a good hand on the numerous staff members. More, we had a good time, the club runs well despite being full. Please give a careful look at the waterski team which seems to have a situation. The seniors make no effort, young ones, some are very nice, one was rude with some guests. The overall feeling isn’t up to the club. Your smile is enlightening.

Another wonderful vacation with Club Med! This was our 2nd trip to Boucaniers, and once again not disappointed. The location perfect, away from the crowds on a perfect slice of beach. The village charm remains after a lovely room remodeling and the food continues to be a slice of Creole France. Sporting activities are top-notch and the staff helpful. The newly added Padel is a nice addition, although some overhead shading would be appreciated. The all-day catamaran excursion ranks as one of our top ever, stopping to snorkel with sea turtles and later a fish filled reef. (Terry and Kimberly were the duo crew who were wonderful guides and great chefs) We were very pleased at the evening activity "tweeking" featuring more live music & dancing and less stage shows. This is small resort, lending itself to great music and spontaneous fun by the guests. It feels so genuine with a great band under the stars, listening to music with a European twist. But don't worry, the ever fun Rum Road remains a highlight! Boucaniers remains French forward, which is A-OK with this American family! We enjoy the international vibe and it makes the trip all the more special. If you want English, go to Florida; if you crave an escape, head to Martinique. With that said, the GO's made us feel welcome. A special recognition to: Fif at fitness/stretch, Adrien at water sports, Jean Martin the restaurant chef & host, Tarik at water fitness/lifeguard, Alice in guest relations, Samuel at water sports, and of course the fabulous Chief-de-Village More. See you Club Med next year!

This was my second time at a Club Med. Turcs and Caicos was amazing. Martinique not so much. The positive things are the beach and the water sports. The site is stunning with palm trees and high green mountains as a backdrop. The house keeping staff works extremely hard to keep the rooms clean. The local food service staff/waiters/bar staff work very hard but are unfortunately understaffed to always provide a quality service. At least they remain polite and professional. The pastries and cheese were amazing. The rest of the food was very lacklustre. A variety of disappoin**ent fluctuating between being under and over cooked. The worst part was the G.O. team. They simply lack in hospitality or social skills. They should be called RO (rude organizer). There was absolutely no one supervising the GO “entertainment” team. They spent the evening getting wasted, smoking and socializing between themselves instead of interacting with the guests. The inebriated incoherent “DJ” blasted the music so loud that most people left by 930. Just very rude and inconsiderate. Great for the kids to watch such unprofessional behaviour. Quite turned off from this experience. I am uncertain whether I will ever go to another Club MED if this is the standard.

We mainly come here for windsurfing and this is our second time for this place. The availability of the windsurfing board is a bit tight when lessons are running. We wish there are more windsurfing boards available for those who didn't need to take the windsurfing lesson. One big disappoin**ent is that there is no more tennis lessons and tournaments in this facility. The resort overall is beautiful and has been renovated since we went there last time. Food wise, we found food provided is good 5 nights out of 7. Wish there are more varieties of food for breakfast. The GO teams are friendly.
