This hotel is located on the side of lajolla cove , but the building facilities are a bit old, the staff's service is not good, the check-in time is 4 pm, but the room is cleaned with few staff, even if it is urged, it will not be completed until 3 o'clock. But the departure time is 11 am. Most importantly, if you are carrying a larger suitcase and are not arranged in a room in the small building below, the distance to mention the suitcase to the room is very long, and 90% are steps, not even ramps. The hotel has several small buildings, the entrance and exit signs are unclear, and the room is in different directions. Take the large suitcase, before arriving at the room, I was very uncomfortable, and the girl collapsed. The suite room is quite big and can be simply cooked. But the facilities are a bit old, the air conditioning system is very noisy, the sound insulation is poor upstairs and downstairs, and the carpet is dirty. Towels, bedding is not bad (this may catch up with the new period) have a small pool, anyway, I have no requirements for public facilities. The price is between 350 and 550 dollars, some are not worth it. Anyway, don't choose a large suitcase. The wheel is on the steps and it is directly bad. There are fewer hotels on Trip.com in this area, but there are actually many small hotels to choose from. It is recommended to check several websites.

Good hotel great location overall very good. We had 2 tiny problems that were taken care of efficiently and rapidly by the staff so if you encounter something in your room that you do not like just call them they are amazing and very fast at solving the problem. We called twice and each times we had someone at our door 3 mn later. Great place to stay clean good swimming pool walking distance to the sea and perfectly located.

First time I came there with my husband in November 2021, and second time - with my middle daughter of 11 years old in March 2022. I love this hotel -we took both times side sea view - park and ocean -amazing view! Probably front beach view is better, but for us too expensive. Don't recommend rooms without view. All rooms ( I suppose) have balcony, where pleasant to sit to have tea (or drinks in the evening). More romantic place than family. But my daughter loved pool and beach. So it's family too:) Close to hotel there is nice park with kids stuff - so families are welcome. Standard Rooms are pretty big and have two queen beds. So both time it were two of us - but it can be easily 4 persons, especially if it is family with 2 adults and 2 kids. Breakfast - for additional money is medium, not bad, but in city we had better breakfasts. Bar is nice:) Dinner-never tried. But within 150-300 meters of walk - great restaurants -italian (2) and others. Stuff is very friendly and pleasant. Rooms are clean and not tired. I will definetely return there. Also - we like to walk -it is 20 min walk or 5-7 min drive to La Jolla caves, seals. I did it both times and will do again -love to watch sea lions, seals and birds.

The hotel that sent the children to school is very close to UCSD. The hotel environment is very good. Many people are married. It seems that it is a good hotel in the local area. Unfortunately, accompanying children at school every day, I have not had time to visit the hotel to enjoy the SPA. When the hotel was departed, the hotel deducted the tax and returned to Ctrip to help back, thank you!

The location of the hotel is very good. If the floor is high, you can see the distant sea on the balcony. If the floor is low, the view is not good. There is no breakfast at the hotel, and there are many restaurants to choose from not far from the hotel. The hotel parking charges are a bit expensive.

Our stay at La Jolla Beach and tennis club was perfection. Check-in was a breeze and the gentleman that checked us in was super nice and helpful. We had a room with a kitchenette and it was big and comfortable for us. Yes, the rooms could use renovations. The carpets are old and in some spots had tears along the edges. Our room had a slight musky smell and to me it’s from the old carpeting. The furniture is old and just the overall room def needs updating. However, I will say everything was very clean. I had no issues with the cleanliness and the service provided by the room attendant throughout our stay. Breakfast and service at the restaurant was very good as well. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. Now let’s talk about what truly makes this place a gem. It’s the beautiful beachfront property. You’re literally steps from the beach. So relaxing and beautiful and worth a million bucks. The amenities are great and though also showing a little dated was not a big deal for us. Dinner at The Marine Room was perfection and delicious. Honestly, I can’t wait to come back.

The inn is located conveniently located. A few minutes by foot from the beach and restaurants, but far enough to be quiet. You might want to take the car to downtown La Jolla. The reception is open from 9am to 5pm but arriving after hours is no issue. There is a small safe and phone next to the reception and they will provide you with a code to get your room key. The rooms are large. Sitting room with large TV and a kitchen. Our apartment was on the ground floor and windows facing to the street (though kitchen and main door is to pool area). Others are facing to the back or are on upper level, which might be better. Bathroom and kitchen would need a more thorough clean-up. Kitchen fixture is only basic. 2 small pots, microwave, oven, coffee machine; glasses, cups, plates and cutlery for 2. Knifes, can and bottle opener. Bring basics like salt and pepper if you plan some cooking. Private parking is available but street parking was no problem and free. Just watch out for Thursday morning street sweeping.
