Hotels near FaFa Piano Studio in San Jose

Business type instead of luxury hotels, breakfast business type simple breakfast buffet. Convenient location, near Google, Intel, there is a passing railway on the east side, there is a car passing in the morning but it can be heard but not noisy, and many people live.

Location is great near main roads/highways in/out of the area. Staff was super helpful in answering any questions, following through on requests, etc. (especially Linda, she is awesome). Has food locations on site (including Starbucks) and a small gift/supplies shop. Plenty of room, it's a good size venue. If anything, the decor and ambiance is a bit dated and needs updating. But the room was big, the mattress was comfy, and the view from upper floor was good. Good experience overall and would recommend for sure as an affordable option in the area. Note that it is a long way from Levi's Stadium, and you need to take either a car (don't recommend that because the parking/driving situation at the stadium is insane), Uber/Lyft (very expensive but it gets you semi-close, with some blocks to walk remaining), or light rail (very close by, super cheap, but very crowded).

The check in process was fast and checking out early before work was seamless.

Don’t expect to get any rest at this DoubleTree. We booked a hotel room for 3 nights. Room 201, the East wing of the hotel, right next to the retail shops (Marshalls), and above their delivery dock and industrial trash compactor. The rooms were nice & clean. However, you will not be able to have a restful stay at all. Friday night, we were awakened at 3:30am, by a big rig truck, delivering or picking up something. Not sure if it was working for the hotel or the retail, but after this, it was not easy to fall asleep again. Song with this nuisance the doors below us (staff entrance) would open and be slammed non-stop for the next hour. Saturday morning we told the front desk staff about the issue. They said they would move us on the other side of the hotel, but they had to wait for guests to check out (which they assured us they would have) and they could hold a new double room for us. We told them we would be back later after our event, to get the room. Later that day, upon returning to the hotel around 4pm, we came back to the front desk, there was new shift working the front desk. They told us they did not have a new room for us, and that they were fully booked, and were “prioritizing large groups” and did not have a new room for us. Extremely disappointing! Nothing we could do. The next issue was Monday morning. Awakened again, by the hotels laundry delivery service truck at 6am!!!! Rolling his Containers into and out of the truck, using the load lift gate each time. The rooms should be made sound proof, with sound proof windows as well. The hotel should also have an agreement with the retail businesses to not disrupt hotel guests with their deliveries and use of the trash compactor in the middle of the night! Bottom line, the fact that guests could not have a restful nights stay at a hotel, is not good for a hotel! I mean, isn’t this the main purpose for hotels?! For guests to be able to sleep comfortably without disruption?! So beware of this HUGE issue if you decide to actually book a room with this DoubleTree Hilton Hotel.

After a miserable day of travel and the last leg of our flight being canceled, Renee, at Four Points, sent a shuttle to pick us up at the airport and went far above and beyond to accommodate us, help extend our checkout time, and offer a very reasonable rate; the room was comfortable, clean, and the staff friendly and helpful. Our airport return was well beyond checkout time; they tagged and held our luggage so we could go have dinner, then retuned us to the airport in the evening so we didn’t have to spend hours in the terminal, exemplary service by kind and caring people.

Clean and easy access, plenty of good parking. the only thing I would recommend is to have paper plates so we can take a muffin to the room and better creamer in rooms since we were staying in outer building. Beds were very comfy. Good breakfast options! Seemed to be safe area as well with many amenities accessible.

Overall, I am very impressed. The room and bathroom were excellent and very clean. Staff were very courteous. Only negative experience was with the TV. I did not get Chromecast working on my iPhone and gave up after a few minutes of trying. Yes, I plan to stay here again next time.

We just stayed for one night between destinations, but everyone we encountered was beyond helpful, extremely friendly, and kind. Shout out to Milton, the bartender for making sure we got fed (it was late) and who went above and beyond for us. Food: free hot breakfast buffet in the morning with delicious options. Our morning had: eggs, plantains, beans and rice, peppers and sausage, mixed veggies, fresh fruit, pastries, cereal, lunch meat/cheese, variety of breads, yogurt, juices, coffee. There is a restaurant on site as well. Room: Spacious, clean, large shower, coffee maker, ice machine nearby. Cold a/c and extremely easy to use wifi. One complaint for improvement. We ordered the shuttle that runs every hour at the 45 mark. There was a worker holding up a sign that said “county inn and suites” but the shuttle was an unmarked white van. After being hounded by many cab drivers during our wait, we were extremely apprehensive of getting in the shuttle with no confirmation this was who they said they were. We contacted the hotel and they assured us, so we did ride with them. I will say they were super patient and kind with us while we waited for confirmation. As two females traveling, we have to make sure of our safety. The hotel should get signage for the shuttle for any other travelers this helps ease. Other than that, great stay and would absolutely come back another time!

After a very, very long travel day, we discovered our reservation at another hotel had been “lost”. Luckily, the Westin more than made up for it. Vera and Abigail at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay a great one. They offered to check us in right away or wait a bit for a more spacious room. We elected to wait. They efficiently stored our luggage while we took a quick walk before returning to our fabulous room. Birthday saved! Ill Fornaio’s breakfast was another home run. It was so good that we returned a week later to enjoy the excellent food and service once more before heading home to Nashville. The valets were equally helpful. Thank you, Vera and Abigail! I have stayed one night twice in this location. First stay, the FOH was getting trained, focus was on checking me in the computer. Second visit, quick check in process, friendly staff, forgot to write my room number nor mention it to me, good thing I saw in app after parking. $18 on site parking either open next to hotel entrance, or in a gated covered lot. The room has a modern look with the vanity separating the bedroom and bathroom. The 1 king bed room has frosted walls/doors with no locks for the shower and toilet, not a fan of the frosted look because it does not look clean for me. The vanity had motion sensor lights on the bottom. The shower has both a shower head and has a rainfall shower system - pressure was both appropriate, strong for the shower head, moderate for the rainfall. Behind the vanity, facing the bed was a floor to almost the ceiling mirror - still don’t know how I feel about this haha. I do like the modern feel. The bed felt comfy. The room could be cleaner. There were some hair strands next to toilet and there were a couple under the duvet. There was a green stain on the water flush and a dried visible stain on the counter by the sink - we typically bring cleansing wipes to clean our room regardless but cleanliness definitely could be better. Great sized tv and desk available as a working space. Side note: it’s right next to 10 Butcher’s which is an upscale kbbq place pricey but yummy!👍
