I booked this hotel for the night prior to departing to the airport. I was shocked how beautiful this hotel is and wished I knew earlier. Service and friendliness of the staff was excellent, food at the Japanese restaurant was pretty good too. Shuttle to airport was convenient, definitely would stay here again when in Costa Rica. Nice area but a car would be best to get around San Jose.

Good points, room very nice and clean. Bar and pool staff very good. Dinner OK. Amenities also good. Not so good, receptionists abrupt and unwelcoming, we were told to see the bell man to organise a lift to the airport and he just left us standing at his desk organising about 10 suitcases and then walked off to deliver them to various rooms. We went for breakfast at 05.00 as it says on room information and was told when checking out it opens at 05.30. We had a flight to catch and make our own way to the airport so no breakfast.

This was our first time in Costa Rica and this hotel was a great start to our adventure. They had the shuttle from the airport and beautiful accomidations. Breakfast was fantastic! We escaped the cold in Ohio to come to warmth and luxury!

Excellent value for money. Although the location is a bit far away, you can get around the city with Uber. The hotel is very nice, with cleanliness and comfortable beds. Spacious rooms.

The room is very spacious, with one bedroom and one living room. The decoration style is old-fashioned and makes you feel like you are at home. Because it is a resort hotel... it is far from San Jose City. If you want to go out of town, you have to call a taxi. ＞_＜ I stayed on a half boat and ate until dinner.. Breakfast and dinner... they were similar... they didn't suit my taste. But the garden and swimming pool are nice.
