Appartement-Pension Kendlbacher

The Kendlbacher family and their staff made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The rooms are modern and comfortable and have a lovely view. The sauna is great and the breakfast is very plentiful. We were able to sit together with friends in the breakfast room in the evening for a games night. The gondola is a 10-minute walk away and there is also a storage room for snowboard equipment. We would love to come back.

Thank you for the lovely days we were able to spend here again. As usual, the room was a pleasant size and we were able to use the balcony in the afternoon. The breakfast buffet was excellent as always. Special requests, such as fried eggs, were immediately implemented by the very friendly staff. The sauna area met our expectations and was activated earlier than usual upon request. All in all, a very nice place to stay for someone who doesn't want to miss out on a certain level of comfort on a skiing holiday, but doesn't need much more expensive hotels. We'd be happy to come back!!

This was our 5th stay with the Kendlbacher family since summer 2019 - this time together with lovely motorcycle friends from the Netherlands. During this stay, the four of us again found everything to our complete satisfaction and were able to enjoy everything to the fullest: the extremely well-kept house with wonderfully modern and very clean rooms, first-class gourmet breakfast and great sauna depar**ent, run by Johanna and Gottfried, as well as the top service in the associated sports shop with Wolfgang and his team. In addition, the always beautiful and wide selection of restaurants in Grossarl, which once again offered us daily variety for dinner - very nice! Whether with skis, snowshoes, hiking boots, mountain bike or even by motorcycle - we always enjoy coming back to the Kendlbacher family in Grossarl - everything just fits!

We had an apar**ent for a week: very comfortable, well equipped and clean! Booking, communication, check-in and support were top notch! The spa area is very good. Even the underground car park is pleasant: large parking spaces, bright, wall box and sparkling clean!

We have been going to Kendlbacher for 8 years and will be going again next year! We can only recommend it! Especially with family! The breakfast is delicious and the location is also very nice and the gondola is within walking distance!

The week in Haus Kendlbacher was simply wonderful. The room was super nice and spacious. The breakfast room and breakfast were simply top notch. The location for cycling trips and hikes to the countless alpine pastures is a dream. We will definitely come back to Haus Kendlbacher. We were looking for a room for a few days at short notice and ended up at the Kendelbacher... and that was a good thing. 👍 super friendly hosts, very nice rooms and bathrooms and a breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired. Our fourth stay took us to the Kendlbacher family with our motorbikes. Everything was wonderful again: spacious premium room with panoramic views over the village centre, gigantic balcony and bright morning sun, motorbike parking in the ultra-modern underground car park, and the excellent breakfast buffet from boss Johanna. We sent the hiking boots ahead by parcel service and borrowed the hiking poles from Wolfgang in the in-house sports shop - thank you very much! You can also go on excellent day trips by motorbike from Grossarl, for example in the direction of the Grossglockner High Alpine Road and the Rossfeld Panorama Road, and then take the opportunity to get the bikes back to their former glory at the in-house mountain bike washing area - simply great! After extensive day trips (on foot to the beautiful alpine pastures around Grossarl, or by motorbike to the above-mentioned excursion destinations), Grossarl once again offered a great selection of restaurants with excellent cuisine, from hearty and hearty to the finest Michelin-starred cuisine. We would love to come back - at Kendlbachers you feel well looked after and taken care of with a holiday feeling from the very first moment!

We had a wonderful holiday with the Kendlbacher family, where we didn't lack for anything. Great house, very clean, modern, comfortable and super friendly staff. The central location is perfect for trips into the area and evening restaurant visits and walks. We can recommend the accommodation with a clear conscience and would be happy to come back.
