Weston Hotel

We stayed for 3 nights in April. The hotel is beautifully presented, it is a great combination of modern decor with touches of the original. The staff were very welcoming and the bar, library and snug are very luxurious but cozy. We enjoyed the display of items found in the renovation, which gave a lovely view of the history of the hotel. We stayed in room 21, which was a small double. Everything was spotlessly clean and the room was serviced every day. The hotel is located right opposite the funicular that takes you down to the spa and is in a quieter part of the esplanade, with gorgeous views over the seafront and Scarborough. We will definitely stay again and would recommend this hotel.

A perfect stay at the Weston hotel. Steph and Luke are doing a great job at putting their touch to the hotel. The decor is absolutely fabulous. Mark was really helpful on Reception and in the bar area. Very professional, smart and with a good sense of humour. The food, well what can I say. Absolutely fabulous. We had the breakfast, evening meal and also stayed for Sunday lunch and we couldn’t complain about anything. Superb chefs! Thank you to Ben and Ben for waiting on us and looking after us. Such polite young men with a professional manner. Good luck in your travels Ben! Our room was perfectly clean with a great view. We will definitely be back again. 🌟

We booked this hotel at short notice because I had been unwell and needed a break. We had a twin (family) room on the second floor which was pleasant and overlooked South Bay, so there was plenty of sea air for my chest's benefit! The room and beds were comfortable, and the bathroom and shower, although a bit of a tight squeeze for my bulk, were fine. The lift was a bonus for my walking problems. Breakfast was really good and the staff attentive and pleasant. We ate in the restaurant 3 times and, each time, the food was good and served by efficient and polite staff. There is a nicely appointed bar with friendly staff. The hotel is convenient for the Spa Cliff Lift, and on-street parking is plentiful and the discs supplied by the hotel for the duration of your stay included. we both agreed that we would happily stay again.

We arrived on a Sunday and were checked in by a lovely lady who even came to our car to help with our luggage. We had booked a second floor sea view room but were upgraded to a first floor bay windowed room which was brilliant and I will definitely book one of these next time we stay here. A king sized bed was in the centre of the room there is plenty of storage and plug sockets in all the right places with 2 very comfortable chairs in the bay offering unrestricted views of the sea, a lovely bathroom with the longest bath I’ve ever seen. Tea coffee hot chocolate and biscuits are provided with plenty of sugar and milk. We enjoyed a delicious Sirloin of beef Sunday lunch with plenty of roast and seasonal vegetables, the breakfast was also of a very high quality freshly cooked and served piping hot. We had drinks in the bar on both evenings and the staff were very friendly and shared a lot of knowledge of Scarborough with us. It was our first visit to this hotel and definitely won’t be the last it’s in a superb position in a quiet area of the town but within easy access to the seafront and town centre. There’s a disc system for free parking just outside the hotel with plenty of spaces just don’t park under a lamppost or the seagulls will leave a present on top of your car. Well done to everyone you all know what hospitality is all about.

Arrived for a one night stay as a couple. Nice welcoming from polite staff. We booked on *********** the cosy attic double which looks delightful and spacious online. Located on the 3rd floor we didn't mind, it was nice to have basic essentials like coffee, TV and toilet roll but we were disappointed at the size of the window which overlooked bins. The bathroom was extremely small but manageable for a quick step in shower. The main issue was how low the pressure of the water was which needs to be improved. It would be impossible to do a hair wash as it was literally a trickle. Also the Queen bed was rather uncomfortable too which was a shame for £120 a night. We had a couple of drinks on the night in the lounge which was peaceful and the lady serving was friendly to chat to. In the morning we got a good breakfast but staff weren't as attentive with the order. Was a nice stay here but would only return if shower was upgraded and also if we booked a larger room as the pics make the cosy look like it is worth £120.

We have stayed here a few times now over the past few years. Our room was comfy and comfy bed! Although not a sea view room the room was still nice. Breakfast was really nice and good choice. The hotel has a nice bar/seating area. Staff were very friendly and we got to speak to the new owners. We ate out for our evening meal but the new menu looks amazing and good choice. The hotel has also had a makeover which looks really nice and immaculate throughout. Looking forward to staying again and trying the new restaurant! Parking easy and stress free! Would recommend.

A superb hotel situated along the esplanade, fantastic room, and a truly relaxing atmosphere for a romantic break. Our room was newly decorated having everything you would expect to find, spotless bathroom comfortable double bed. Breakfast service was slick and the food excellent, indeed all the service was first class and ALL staff friendly and professional. Every member of staff that we spoke with were personable, receptionist, and breakfast servers. I would highly recommend staying at The Weston if considering a stay in the Scarborough area. We will definitely return!

A superb hotel situated along the esplanade, fantastic sea view room(12A) and a truly relaxing weekend break. Our room was nicely decorated having everything you would expect to find, spotless bathroom and double aspect view of the sea front in South Bay. Every member of staff that we spoke with was very professional - Reception, bar and breakfast. The bar, lounge and restaurant areas are tastefully decorated and the entire hotel had a fresh feel about it. Would highly recommend staying at The Weston if considering a stay in the Scarborough area. We will definitely return!

Recently stayed at the Weston for three nights and really enjoyed the experience. Hotel in a prominent position on the Esplanade with ample free parking available courtesy of hotel card. We stayed in room 8 on first floor, lift just outside, beautiful with stunning sea views, bay window seating area and serviced daily. Breakfast service was slick and food (especially kippers) very good.The hotel is clean and inviting, service first class and ALL staff friendly and professional.We dined in Cecil's restaurant one night from the set menu which was fine... however service was probably a little TO slick for us. We had a little tour around the rooms from a lovely lady before leaving and all rooms are immaculate. We would definitely recommend and shall return to this hotel .
