Scenic Hotels in Niagara Falls

"Great location, but the room was a major bait-and-switch. We booked a ”river view” room for our honeymoon, but the room we received was worlds apart from the promotional photos. Our view was 85% parking lot and 15% river—and at night, the river view was completely non-existent. I understand showcasing the ”best room” online, but it felt misleading. Additionally, the Jacuzzi was located in the bedroom rather than the bathroom as pictured, meaning we froze walking across the room to the shower to rinse off. We had notified the hotel weeks prior about our late check-in and our honeymoon. When we approached the front desk about the room mismatch, the staff member was understanding and helpful, but offered an Applebee's breakfast voucher to compensate. When we refused, they told us ”it was not a big deal” to just accept it. While I know they were trying to help, that specific phrasing felt dismissive given the situation. Pros: ＞ Location: Incredibly convenient, located right near the Falls Incline Railway. ＞Service: Check-out was extremely fast and seamless.Amenities: General hotel amenities were okay. Cons: ＞Vouchers: The hotel dining vouchers are pretty underwhelming. We used one for Brasa Brazilian Steakhouse and it still came out to almost $200 CAD, which in my opinion, was not worth it. ＞Room Reality: The layout and view were huge letdowns compared to what was advertised. The light switch for the bathroom in our was was also wonky -- If you move it wrong it doesn't turn on. Overall, the location is great, but don't expect the rooms to look exactly like the photos on the listing."

"This was by far the most amazing stay we had throughout all of North America. Absolutely everything was perfect. We were welcomed by Audrey, who was the sweetest hotel employee we encountered in Canada. She made us feel so comfortable and pampered. I had an amazing birthday thanks to you, the upgrade was already such a beautiful touch, but the piece of chocolate cake you left in the room while we were out was so thoughtful and very delicious. Thank you ❤️ The room is spacious, beautiful and with the most gorgeous view on the falls. The beds are big and comfy, the bathroom products are good as I already knew that brand. The breakfast was great, diverse and generous. There is a restaurant in the hotel open til 23:00, as well as a souvenir shop. The lounge area is so relaxing and also allows you to enjoy the view . We were given vouchers to try light therapy at the spa, it was great and everyone was so lovely! The gym is really good, there’s everything you’d find in a regular gym and even headphone, apples, towels and water + you can train while looking at the Niagara Falls! The jacuzzi and sauna outside are right next to the swimming pool and spa. Most importantly, the waterfalls are a 25-minute walk or 5-minute drive from the hotel. I will tell everyone who visits the Niagara Falls to stay at this hotel, it’s worth the price and the surrounding hotels are really not as nice, (and this is coming from someone who stayed in Marriotts and budget hotels in 100+ countries.) "initailly out room keypad was out of battery but the staff was very friendly they assisted and provided us another room asap no wait staff was very helpful and polite perfect hotel away from tourist crowds parking is additional 15$ onsite rooms are clean and good there is no smoking or bad smell in rooms rooms with balcony have a view view shows river amd part of falls awesome hotel prices high on weekends otherwise better than big brands hotel was a piece of mind"

"During my stay at the hotel, the room did not even provide basic shampoo or body wash. The bottles were completely empty. Was the room not properly checked before guest check-in to make sure shampoo and body wash were provided? These are basic hotel amenities, and not having them available is very disappointing. It also reflects a lack of proper room inspection and professionalism. also found many small insects or mosquito-like bugs on the bed, which was extremely unhygienic and uncomfortable. This is very unprofessional and does not meet the basic standard expected from a hotel. Please look into this matter immediately and provide a proper explanation."

"I had a wonderful stay at Sheraton Fallsview Hotel. The hotel exceeded my expectations the room was spacious, spotless, and offered stunning views of Niagara Falls. A special thank you to Agnes at the front desk for her exceptional hospitality. We arrived quite late at around 10 PM, and she warmly welcomed us with chocolates upon check-in. She also kindly arranged a late check-out for us, which was greatly appreciated after a long day of travel. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and breathtaking views made our stay truly memorable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again in the future."

"Great location, can see fireworks at the falls from our room directly (cant see the falls) and short walking distance to Clifton hill. The luggage storage was very nice and safe, they provided a room with a lock on it. However, the fan in our room was a bit noisy, also amenities are down in the reception, which is self served. Toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers were not provided. Also not to mention the water pressure was weak for the shower. Also found a spider on the night stand. Overall, it is what you will expect for a 3-star hotel, and the price decent given that it is near tourist attractions, except for that spider."

"Overall, the hotel is pretty good. It's clean and well-equipped, though a bit old. The room size was appropriate, and the bathroom was quite spacious. The price was reasonable, offering great value for money. The location is also very convenient for sightseeing. Parking costs CAD 20 plus tax per night."

"This is GREAT Value for money! It was our first time in Niagara and we didn’t have any real guide, we just booked because it felt like a good price and it was a GEM! Traveled with my family (3 kids and spouse) and the 2 Queen beds + Sleeper couch was perfect! The location is actually EXCELLENT, close enough to the falls for an easy walk with Children, but also close enough to all the Major attractions! There is a pool and tub, which was a hit for our kids and onsite parking made life so much easier! Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and I can’t recommend this place enough! The only issue I had, our window was facing the sun and there was no way to use the black out curtains properly! Those Curtains need to be looked at especially during the summer when it is Sunrise at 5am! Can’t talk about the breakfast because we didn’t have it, but all in all, GREAT value for money!"

"The location was fantastic. The bath quickly warmed up, allowing me to thaw out from the cold. It was easy to get to Table Rock, Rainbow Bridge, and the fireworks display area."

"We had spent two nights in the hotel with my family this time. The front desk was not too friendly when we first checked in, however the other staff in the front desk was very helpful when we asked about directions when we checked out the last day. The room was ok clean however we had found a swimsuit pricetag underneath the bedsheet. There are no coffee, no water bottles, slippers, toothpaste and toothbrush. Only decaf coffee and tea bags were there. We had enjoyed their swimming pool and hot tub downstairs. We also had dinner in the Keg restaurant downstairs. Overall, location is good, we were hoping if they could provide free parking but they charged around $28 daily."
