"The hotel is spotless and quite new. The room is very spacious, and the bathroom is well-designed with good water pressure. The air conditioning is refreshingly cold. The swimming pool is nice, and they provide towels for the beach. The beach in front of the hotel is also great, clean, and safe for swimming with good waves. There's ample parking; if the lot is full, you can park along the road in front of the beach, which feels safe as there isn't much traffic. Mae Ramphueng Beach is quiet. There aren't many seafood restaurants directly in front of the hotel, but that's not an issue as there are three 7-Elevens on this road. The hotel breakfast is decent, and they have a fresh coffee machine, which is convenient. Overall, I'm very impressed with the hotel's condition and the beach area in front of it. If I go to Rayong again and want a good swimming spot, I'd definitely consider staying here again. The room condition was exactly as pictured by the hotel."

"This is a fantastic place to stay! We booked the room for three people, and it was great. It had a separate room with a double bed (for two people) and another room with a single bed (for one person), complete with a TV and dining table. There's a counter, fridge, shoe cabinet, and plenty of storage space. The bathroom is shared, with two entrances: one from the single-bed room and another from the double-bed room. It's really convenient. The beds are super comfortable. The air conditioning in both rooms is easy to adjust with the remote. You can even watch YouTube on the TV, which is a great touch. Check-in is at 2 PM and check-out at 12 PM. I highly recommend booking with breakfast included – it was absolutely delicious! "Stayed on April 18, 2026, room 1821. This is the only hotel I choose every time I return home to Rayong. The room is fully equipped with toiletries, 6 crystal glass bottles of drinking water, tea and coffee, an iron, and a hairdryer. The staff's service is consistently excellent across the board; truly nothing to fault. The housekeeping staff are also lovely; when I requested ice at night, they brought it right away. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, with the Tom Yum creamy soup being the most delicious. All the restaurant staff provide excellent service in every aspect; whatever you ask for, they will find it for you. All staff members use well-trained and polite language. I'd like to commend the chefs and all the staff who served in the restaurant on April 19, 2026. Overall, I love this hotel the most out of all the hotels I've ever stayed at. I highly recommend it to everyone!"

"Enjoyed my time here, room was fresh with new furniture. Big swimming pool. Sound isolation was on point, as I didn’t hear my neighbors nor guests from the swimming pool. There are two 7-elevens nearby. Recommend"

"This is a good basic stay fir the money paid, I think around £25 per night? I feel kind of lucky I had bungalow 36 which was right opposite the reception but having said that I didn’t have any privacy because the double glazed patio doors only had curtains which when open everyone could see in meaning when I was there I had to have the curtains closed and the lights on. Which was a shame as a simple set of sheet curtains would have solved this issue. Having said that the noise was limited I expected it to be noisy but Toks bars did keep the music low and I think it went off quite early too. I had a terrace eith bench exterior lighting and table, bin and broom to sweep up sand and a thick bathroom mat towel to dust sand off feet when entering the bungalow. Inside the bungalow was a fridge a safe wardrobe kettle urn two mugs two glasses, 2 dental kits, shampoo conditioner shower gel, 2 x towels, 1 small roll of toilet roll, 1 x bar of soap. You get towels, wash kit loo roll left on your terrace each night of your stay except the night before you leave. I think if you want your room done over you ask reception. The room was clean though the bathroom appeared clean but could do with a deep clean as sink overflow was black and the air con piping was dusty as was the extraction fan. You also got a bath mat in the bathroom and a bin. The loo had a bidet facet. There was a slight sewage smell in the morning on my second day but it’s an island and sure their sewage collection piping is probably quite fragile. I walked to the hotel when I arrived and I think you walk past the sewage works/garbage tip it smells horrendous 🤣. Overall I would stay here again as it’s a good location not sure if I would want to be in a bungalow at the top of the hill though. the beach is across the road, taxi open vans pick up from outside, there’s a cafe, snack places, restaurant bar across the road Toks on the beach and in front of that is a set of beach loungers run by Ed she charges 100 baht. The beach is beautiful a little litter here and there and around the island as a whole but I think you’d find that a lot of places these days, it’s very sad."

"At first they could not find the reservation. The room was good, old but wel kept and clean. Aircon worked well but the shower had no pressure. When we mentioned this at reception it was fixed within hours. The gardens were cut but the gardener left all cuttings whete they were so we cleaned our own path. The coffee and teacans were so dirty we did not even toych them, but thete was a coffeemachine that worked slowly as well. Bad coffee though🙃. Very good yoghurt, fresh baked/fried eggs and a choice of asian food. Only melon for fruit and juice was the usual sugarwater. Chairs with parasols and good matrasses on a great part of the beach, and although it was never clean of leaves, there were some guys shoving some leaves around every morning. This place has a lot going for it, but, like the rest of Samed, it lacks enthusiasm and selfrespect. High prices are okay, but only if the standard is a bit higher. There is trash EVERYWHEREon Samet, and I mean stinky big piles of black bags, matrasses and plastic bottles. Behind one beach where we walked to, it smelled as there was a corpse lying around. That was not at our beach luckily, but Samed is small and I think things can be ran a lot better with the amount of money coming in."

"The taxi from the pier cost 250 baht. The beach right in front of the hotel is fantastic, and the male attendant who manages the towels was really good – he's the reason I gave the last 100 baht as a tip. His enthusiasm also led us to book a night squid fishing trip for 9 people. However, all the staff here seem to have two different attitudes: one for Western guests and another for Chinese guests. While everyone else managed basic politeness, the female server in the restaurant (pictured in photo 2) was incredibly rude to us. This is my fifth time vacationing in Thailand, and I've also traveled to the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Mauritius, the Maldives, and Hamilton Island, but this is honestly the first time I've encountered a staff member so rude. She pointed her finger at me and loudly demanded that I push the water bottle from the middle of the table to against the wall. I was completely stunned. Upon check-in, they asked for 500 baht per night for an extra bed for our 6-year-old. Since the three of us could comfortably share the king-sized bed, we declined and only paid for the child's breakfast, which was 200 baht per day. One evening, we also encountered teenagers on the beach who were indiscriminately bullying kids playing there. I never even saw something like this in Australia, yet it happened on Koh Samet. Thankfully, my English speaking skills are decent, and after a big argument, he ended up yelling that he was going to call the police. Overall, I still wouldn't recommend booking a hotel here. The pricing attracts a certain type of clientele, and since there are many very cheap hotels nearby, the beach attracts all sorts of tourists."

"Overall, I'm very satisfied! After arriving by bus, we walked about 600m to the pier reception, then took a slow boat to the hotel's pier. Baan is the closest of the four hotels to the pier (as shown in the last picture), which was a huge relief! It's just a 1-minute walk, saving us the hassle of getting a tuk-tuk. The hotel isn't luxurious, but it's quiet and elegant. I especially loved the tree by the beach. Being close to Christmas, the evenings here left a wonderful impression on me! The room was quite spacious, with an IKEA-esque style. There's an outdoor balcony, perfect for reading in the morning. Outside the room, there's a chocolate drink shop where you can grab a drink to enjoy on the beach. To the north, it's less crowded and beautifully scenic – I really love it here! Breakfast was also quite extensive, with several dishes you could select individually. The staff's attitude was much better than in many places in Bangkok. I'm especially grateful that on my first day, I forgot my DJI drone, and the front desk staff kept it safe for me until I returned. Thank you! Oh, and there's a small restaurant run by an old man to the north that's absolutely delicious! Try the Tom Yum Goong and Mama noodles! My husband and I, along with the Swedish couple at the next table, completely cleaned our plates. Highly recommend: ร้านเจ้กิวลุงเตี้ย"
