"We had a wonderful stay at Kobe Meriken Park Oriental Hotel. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking view from our private balcony. Overlooking Kobe Port, it was the perfect place to relax, especially during sunset and at night when the city lights reflected beautifully on the water. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Waking up to the sea view each morning made the experience even more memorable. The buffet breakfast were another standout. There was an impressive variety of Japanese and international dishes, all fresh and delicious. The generous buffet spread catered to different tastes, making every meal enjoyable. Getting around was also very convenient. The hotel provides a frequent complimentary shuttle bus to downtown Sannomiya, making it easy to explore Kobe without any hassle. Overall, this hotel offers beautiful waterfront views, comfortable accommodations, excellent dining, and convenient transportation. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Kobe and would happily stay here again."
"Fantastic location by the seaside for our honeymoon. The bath was a delight and the morning meal we paid for was well worth it. Truly an exquisite hotel."
"Truly a 5 star hotel. luxury shopping just steps away. Breakfast at 5500yen was the most i paid for in Japan but worth every penny. the selection were not extensive but what was served were top notch. Large room with view of the harbour, awesome beddings. All staff speaks english. Honestly, if u want to splurge this is the hotel to be at."
"The hotel is right by Maiko Beach, and opening the curtains reveals a beautiful sea view! I'd visited Kobe before, so this time I planned to go to Kobe University and the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge walkway.
We came directly from Fukuoka, but since we were only staying in Kobe for one night and had to leave for Shirahama in the afternoon (a three-hour journey), my friend and I decided to sleep in and just visit the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge across the road.
If it's your first time in Kobe and you want to shop and see the sights, I recommend staying around Sannomiya. Four days and three nights would be more than enough for a really enjoyable trip."
"One of the best hotels I have stayed in ever. Love the views in the room and the fact that staff will bring breakfast to your room so you can enjoy the views with it.
The hotel also has a lounge that you can enjoy vinyl or drinks at.
The only minus point is that it’s not so close to the city so might not be convenient for people who don’t drive (but it’s like 30 mins drive from city so it’s easy for us)
Love it!"
"* Perfect hotel for staying near Sea World. * The terrace view was beautiful, and my kids went outside first thing in the morning to enjoy the ocean. * The room was square, comfortable, quiet, and had everything we needed. * The big sofa was a nice bonus for relaxing. * Breakfast was excellent. There were not too many items, but everything tasted really good. * We also had dinner here, and both breakfast and dinner were great. * Overall, a wonderful stay and highly recommended."
