This is a nice hotel & I enjoyed the stay, though my room was a disappointment. But first the good points. The location is terrific, in the very heart of the city, I always felt like every point of interest was just a hop & a skip away. Conversely, it is tucked away in a quiet back street, making for peaceful sleep. My check-in experience was top notch, the young lady on reception at the time was helpful, friendly & switched on. She also gave fabulous restaurant recommendations. The highly rated, fine dining restaurant, Villena, was closed during my stay & the hotel was only offering light bites. As a consequence, I didn’t dine in-house. I found the bar a rather soulless place so didn’t drink there either. I had booked a Superior Double Room, which looked very alluring on various booking platforms, including the hotels website. The allocated room didn’t remotely resemble the photographs (which show a very desirable looking semi circle window overlooking the Esmera Valley). Instead, my room had 2 small, shoulder height windows, & was dreary & featureless. I decided against complaining as I was only staying one night, plus, I checked-in very early & was thankful a room was immediately available (I was told it was a different room to the one originally allocated due to my early arrival, but the same category). I didn’t like the room, but to be fair, it wasn’t a bad room, it just wasn’t as advertised, so more a case of unfulfilled expectations. A recent TA reviewer also alludes to this issue… Actually the bathroom was very nice, good products, & a terrific shower. It also had a bath, but this still had the sticky residue left on, across the entire length of the bath, from what I assume was a protective coating, in place at purchase. Unfortunately it had the appearance of scum & as such I didn’t want to use the bath. I’m staggered management haven’t seen fit to get this seen to, it looks disgusting. The hotel hails itself the first 5 star in Segovia but it doesn’t feel 5 star. For example, the in-room. coffee/tea cups are paper, the ‘spoons’ a wooden stirrer, a la McDonalds. To conclude, it’s a pleasant hotel, & with a few tweaks could be very good. On price/quality ratio it’s doing a decent job ...... but be sure to get the room you think you’re getting.

Hotel Cetina Palacio Ayala Berganza

Segovia|1.46km from Monastery of the Carmelitas Descalzos
Because I especially like Segovia, I specially found a hotel with parking spaces. Many room types in this hotel cannot be unsubscribed. Driving from Toledo to Segovia for an hour and a half, I parked the car in the white line at the entrance of the hotel. At the time of check-in, a yellow-haired fat front desk told the car that it must be parked in the charging place, and there was no free parking space seen when booking. The white line parking space can be parked for five minutes, and the timeout will call the trailer to tow me away. Helpless, I can stop in the blue line behind, because I can't operate, the front desk helped me enter the license plate number in the case of extreme impatience, I repeatedly confirmed whether it was correct and parked the car to pay. But I received an 80 euro ticket that night, but the front desk meant that I was not lucky, and she couldn’t help it. Later, thanks to a staff member telling me to cancel the ticket, I learned that the method of entering the license plate number at the front desk was wrong. Go to the front desk theory. The meaning of the front desk is very arrogant, that is, we are the front desk, we don't know how to enter the license plate number, this has nothing to do with us, I am very angry, quarreled, and I am not happy. Isn't this discrimination? The next day I checked out and went to the theory before going back. In short, this hotel was very uncomfortable.

The apartments are in an amazing location in the historic centre of Segovia, and it was fabulous to look out over Plaza San Martin. The view from the roof terrace is stunning. The apartment is well equipped, but a lot of space was taken up with the kitchen area, and it would benefit from a little more storage space for luggage.
Parador de Segovia

I lived in three paradors along the way. This is the largest and most magnificent one. The balcony of the room faces the town. It has a splendid city. The restaurant has a beautiful view. There is a manual juicer for breakfast. Very cute.

Infected breakfast and poor service and staff of unpleasant psycho-rigid room (including preventing you from taking a empty table because dressed for 4 while you are 3 (including the reason, it's a lot of work to remove a cover!!??? Then give the same table to another family of 2 or 3). Food: infected and cold eggs and larvae; raised jams; dry bread; big buffet but with nothing good. They would better do less, but qualitative! Heavyly not recommended.
Eurostars Plaza Acueducto

Stayed 1 night at this hotel but was disappointed thoroughly. It started with the bed... we had selected a king-size bed while booking and what we got was a double bed. Not really the best choice when you are traveling with your husband. On top of that there was another single bed in the room. So, we got a room with 3, yes THREE, beds !!! There was even a small bench inside the room. The property is old and the rooms are also very old. No bath robes our slippers were provided. The bathroom had a bathtub and a bidet. The room service menu had very limited options. The room had a nice view of the aqueduct and that was the best part about it. The location was great with plenty of bars and restaurants around. The check-in was smooth and the staff were helpful.
Hotel San Antonio El Real

My first impression of the hotelroom was WOW! Nicely decorated, clean and the hall to the hotellroom was beautiful. The hotell is close to the center with a walkingdistance of bearly 10 minutes. The hotel lies in a quiet area but the walls at the hotellroom are not soundproof since it is an old hotell. There is a restaurant at the hotell, we didnt eat there so I cant say anything about this. However I can say some about the breakfast. It is a big dining room and you have everything you need. It was however the first time the staff yelled at me in the breakfast buffé at a hotell, without me knowing what I did wrong cause the staff asumed that I talked spanish. Apparantly I stepped in to a place where only the staff may be, even though it was an open area and not closed of. There was no signs whatsoever in the breakfast saying that you may not pick the breakfast by yourself or make the coffee by yourself. If this is related to covid, I wonder howcome you can take juice by your own? Why I wonder is because there is a pipe that you have to lift up with your hand to pour your juice and there are no gloves anywhere to use. That was quite an wakeup so that is my reason to why I wont choose this hotel again. The service wasent top quality and lacked basic empathy.
