New Seoul Hotel Myeongdong Reviews

I arrived in Seoul in the early morning of my first day and stayed in this hotel. The hotel was very spacious, comfortable and clean. When I got up in the morning, there were many small stalls on the street behind where I could buy food and stroll around.

Firstly, good location, less than 10min walk from City hall station, while there r also a few other stations which are not too far away. Walking distance to Myeongdong and to Insadong (20min). Secondly, amenities are comprehensive with bidet, water kettle, fridge and hair dryer. But fridge was very noisy so we turned it off. Bed is comfortable, I would have wished only that I have one more pillows (instead of only one). Didn't pay extra for breakfast since I preferred to eat out.

We will definitely be back on New Seoul Hotel, the locationis very convenient

Spacious room. The room could use a bit of TLC like loose sockets, watertap hard to operate etc. Frontdesk very helpfull. Easy to extend the check-out with a few hours (10.000 W/hr).Location is near City Hall metro and Airport Limousine busstop. Nearby eateries and not to far walk to all the shops at Myeongdong (10-15 min). Great stay at this hotel !

Located in Myeongdong. Pretty convenient to explore Myeongdong by walking. Will book again next time. Silent and peaceful accommodation, not much noise at night. Feel safe.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, helping us with luggage storage and recommendations for airport transfers.

A very decent hotel with a good location. The room was slightly outdated but functional and clean. Overall it was a positive stay.

Good location, daily room cleaning and counter staff are friendly, speaks and understand English well. Breakfast are a little bit boring. Only 1 washer & dryer throughout the entire hotel.

We came on spring. Our room so hot, so we ask to turn on the AC but the said cant coz outside cold only heater. 3 nights we cant sleep until 2am. How can that be.

Almost everyday need go exchange card after room service, not sure why door couldn’t unlock. Otherwise all good😅

Good location. I can walk to the Gyeongbokgung palace, Gwanghamun, Cheonggyecheon and myeongdong. The cityhall station is so closed. Its just walk around 3 minutes. Weak points - I stay the room at 4th floor. I heard the noise from outside and sound from other room.

The hotel has an awkward entrance through a business alley. Was a bit hard to find for the first time.

It was a great central location. I was able to walk everywhere. Or you could take public transportation. I also really liked that they had a cafe downstairs. They did have breakfast there from 7-930 but I did not partake in it. The one thing I did not particularly like was that the water went from scalding hot to cold (not freezing cold) but still cold. It made it kindve hard to find the balance between hot and cold. Other than that, no other complaints.
