Two Potatoes Hotel (Shanghai Lujiazui Pudong Avenue Branch)

Location is excellent close to Binjiangdadao, Yuanshen road MRT. Service was good too! The hotel is new and clean, equipped with washing machine which is very helpful! The room door has big gap where corridor light can be seen when inside light is off, also noise from people walking and talking was clearly heard.

This hotel by far is the worst one we ever stayed. We had to changed the room 3 times due to some kind of smell. The smell was so bad on our second room that kept me woke up. The third room still had some smell and we were tired of moving the room. The staff were good that they had no problem changing the room for us. Beside the smell, the room is very small. The other issue is the hot water. When you first get into the room you have to wait for 20 to 30 minutes for the water to heat up by the electricity. If one of you takes the long shower then the next person needs to wait for water to heat up again. Overall this hotel is kind of run down and old. It is occupied the 4 and 5 th floors above the car repair shop. From the outside, there are several broken window. Don’t really know how this hotel can get 4.6 stars for the reviews. It’s 2 stars at best.

I had nice experience in this hotel. Receptionist Ms. Thang is so helpful. Our room upgraded to Twin bed n gave me souvenir. First this location made me, a little bit confused to find. Apparently only 350m from Exit 2 Yuanshen Metro. Due to room renovated so All is still new n there was washing machine.. Quite Helpful. So happy... Find this hotel cheaper.. Tks alot

Location, the hotel is well located in the CBD just 2-3 metro stations to central tourist area like rivercruise, observatory tower, oriental pierl tower etc. Easy to locate from exit station of Yuanshen The manager is very receptive and jovial. He allowed us to check in early as we had night train.. Both lady and gentleman at reception are well educated with calm spirit. The room is spacious with all amenities.. Good budget price with all necessities, will come again, so peaceful area...

The noise from the construction site continued until late at night, and when I went to get breakfast before going to work, they didn't have any for me and told me to wait, but I had to go to work. Breakfast isn't a buffet or anything like that; it's a menu you can eat in your room, or in my case, on the way.

Good location, good food around the hotel, close to the grocery store and friendly staff
