Hanting Hotel (Shanghai Jing'an Temple Subway Station)

I arrived at 14:30. The front desk told me to wait around 30 mins because the room is not ready (remind you check in is from 14:00). I asked why is so late. They told me: “don’t worry, you can check out later). On The next day front desk called to my room at 11:40 and reminded me that I have to check out in 20 mins. The room itself looks nice and clean. But you can smell something if you don’t open the window.

Very nice room and convenient area.

Good location that is close to many dining options and walking distance to JingAn temple. There is a washer and dryer which is helpful in doing the laundry. Room is average size for a double and single beds and can fit three luggages comfortably but there is no closet for clothes, just a rack for hanging two to three coats. Room is cleaned daily.

Everything was just fine, as expected. We had previous experience with this hotel chain all over Shanghai and we were satisfied. The best value for money. All recommendations.

This is a perfect, inexpensive no frills overnighter. It is in the middle of a bustling area with numerous bars and restaurants yet it is quiet. It is 10-15 minutes’ walk from metro stations on 3 different lines including Jing’An, which is a very popular area. My room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom arrangement was good with a nice shower. The a/c heating was efficient. The room also included quite a generously sized table and chair. For the price it was exceptional and I will certainly return. (I didn’t have the breakfast, it looked basic, but what do people expect for 18 CNY? There are numerous brilliant breakfast and brunch options in the immediate area if you want more).
