Nice place to stay short time. Quite small, suitable for one traveler

This was a beautiful little home stay in the heart of Xuhui. I chose this for its proximity to my friend’s wedding venue which was only a 20 minute walk. It’s also near Fuxing Park where all of the nightclubs are stacked into a single large building. The only issues I had were with cleanliness and amenities, although they were minor. Cleanliness: the dishes were stacked together on the counter, but each dish still had a pool of water in them. I didn’t realize this until late into my first night. Also, the cleaner wore her outside shoes right into the unit after my checkout, meaning the floor was probably not sanitary during my check in. Amenities: No hand soap — only a container of hand sanitizer in the bathroom. I’m not a fan of hand sanitizer and would’ve preferred hand soap. Overall, it’s a great stay that I would certainly come back to. WARNING: This listing is weird because it’s a homestay/airbnb, and the host didn’t provide an address until I called and asked. She’s lucky I spoke Mandarin and had WeChat. Makes me wonder how she would provide these to a foreigner who can’t speak mandarin and doesn’t use wechat.

The unit has everything you would need for short stay. Location is awesome with everything in walking distance. The functioning washing machine and heater in the room is a highlight. However, the cleanliness of the place is the worst I have ever stayed. Room has odor on arrival. Rubbish in the courtyard and a broken mirror. Except following their rules to use the toilet, the toilet became dysfunctioning during the stay. This made our stay very difficult near the end.

Amazing I hope to stay again

The room was nice, it was a small loft structure, right outside Xiangyang South Road, and about 5 minutes walk from the internet-famous Yongjia Road. There were many places selling coffee, milk tea, and food on the street. In a small alley, I saw a restaurant called Weihuang Hotpot, which had a very long queue. We came out late, so we had to queue for 2 hours before we found out, and we even queued for an open-air seat in the alley. The room was highly recommended, except for the poor sound insulation, everything else was very good.

Not all listings are at the same address, so you need to contact the landlord before checking in. Because I need to go to Ruijin Hospital, this apartment is very close to Ruijin Hospital and convenient, about 10 minutes walk. The room is in an alley with a white door, which is relatively easy to find. The room is relatively small, acceptable, and relatively clean. The bed sheets and quilt covers are also changed. I checked in early and saw the aunt cleaning.

Very satisfied with the stay. My child came to the music college for an exam, and it only took about ten minutes to walk there. The landlord was very patient in answering questions throughout the whole process. The community is very quiet and clean. It's on the first floor, and it may be a bit humid when it rains. It's much better when the air conditioner is turned on. There is also a small fireplace in the room. It's quite nice, and there is a small yard. You can sit outside when the weather is good. It's just that the green plants need maintenance and care, and some leaves have turned yellow.

It's very clean and the location is amazing. There's food right out the door. It's convenient to go anywhere, especially if you're hungry at night. There's also a kitchen where you can cook something to eat. The lady is also very enthusiastic.

The bed is 1.8 meters, so a family of three can stay there no problem. There is also a small courtyard, which is very convenient for sitting and eating when the weather is warm. The room is relatively small, and the coffee table is also very small. It may not be convenient for eating takeout, etc. The landlord recommends that the landlord change it to a larger coffee table. Maybe the weather is too cold and the leaves of the green plants are a little yellow. Everything else was good. The room was clean and comfortable. It was very comfortable to watch a movie while lying on the bed.

The room is quite big, and the landlord said it is the largest suite in their B&B. It can accommodate 4 people, and the bed is 1.8 meters wide. The only thing is that the yard is a little small, but I'm very satisfied with everything else. There is also a separate laundry room for drying.

The room is spacious and has very complete amenities. The streets around the rooms are beautiful. Walking to south shaanxi station is not far. The owner is kind. Recommended for anyone coming to stay in Shanghai. You definitely won't be disappointed.
