Hotels Near Jiantangzhen in Shangri-La

A newly opened hotel near Dukezong Ancient Town. The main reason I chose this hotel is because they have oxygen supply in the room, there’s a lift in the hotel, there’s a hospital nearby and it is about 5mins very slow walk to Dukezong. Bed is comfortable, there’s smart toilet, dehumidifier, heater in the shower and floor heating. Some rooms were equipped with projector tv while some is with Xiaomi Smart TV. They also have thermometer and oximeter at the front desk. Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended us the restaurant next door which serves quite good ******* food. The staff went all out by sending us to the hospital nearby when one of us had a medical emergency. Breakfast is a little underwhelming but the whole day free flow of coffee is good. We wanted to go to their sister hotel in Napahai for the pet feeding but there wasn’t any availability, which was a little disappointing. Overall it is a nice hotel. Will choose this hotel again if we were to come back to Shangri-La.

Extremely good accommodation within the Dukezong Old Town. The owners are extremely friendly and kind towards us. They pick us up from the front gate to their hotel and back once we left too. Managed to help us book a bus ticket as well as secured a scooter for use around town. Rooms were very big and new, very well suited for long stay. Highly recommended!

I have nothing but great things to say about my stay here. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was warmly welcomed with drink and snacks. What was unique - they had three sets of toiletries to choose from. My family could choose the one they like. Room was clean and big enough for the 4 of us. There were also complimentary fruits, snacks and goodnight dessert. When I asked for where I could do my laundry, my dedicated ‘butler’ was quick to offer that they do them for me and they were promptly handed back to me the following day. If I could rate them 10 stars I would 🤩. Their warmth and service was just great !

Very well decorated and well equipped hotel. It comes with all the necessary amenities, consumables, and even has one oxygen tank in their lobby for those who need some extra oxygen. We got a decent family room. The only drawback is the poor design of its bathroom floor, which makes the water keep staying on the floor, without flowing out through the drain. The location of the hotel is great. There are restaurants, shops, supermart, within walking distance. The Dukezong ancient town is also just within proximity, thus you can visit the ancient town by just walking from the hotel.

Awesome stay. We have only good things to say about this accommodation. Firstly, the location was absolutely perfect with easy car access and within short walking distance to the old town. Most importantly, the boss was very helpful and welcoming. We were thankful that he went above and beyond in helping to link us up for our tour transport which made it a seamless experience. Room was well designed, spacious and clean. Highly recommend.

While this hotel is not situated in the old town itself, it's just a short 10-15 min or so walk away. It's really not far, and nice to walk along to soak up the atmoshere. The room was big and clean, and the beds were huge and comfy! The room was not air-conditioned but not a concern as the weather is definitely cooler here and can just open the window (with the mosquito net to prevent insects from coming in). We technically had the room with a mountain view and street view, but don't think it was facing any famous mountain. Nonethless, am still very happy with the room. The staff were very nice and welcoming. Breakfast was great as well, with the usual mixian, eggs, sweet potato, corn and some mantou. There's some resident cats in the compound roaming around (very cute!) And of course they were nice enough to help us carry our luggages to our room as there's no lift. This hotel was just a 9 min drive away from the airport and the staff gave us a lift there on our last day! Enjoyed our stay here :)

We come to travel with family. vacation Reserve a family room with 3 beds. The rooms are clean, the lights are very bright, and the facilities are excellent. There is a projector. oxygen generator and humidifier But I don't have time to watch TV shows because I've been traveling all day and I'm exhausted. The bathroom is spacious, but there are disadvantages. The tile floor is very slippery. The shower and toilet spots are close to each other. The bathroom floor is not made in two levels to prevent wet floors from coming out of the shower area. The environment around the hotel is very good. Finding food to eat in the morning is close to the hotel. Walk to the ancient city for about 1 km. Enough to exercise.

I am super satisfied. I eat well and sleep well. The little animals are so cute and well-behaved. It’s amazing to be greeted by Alaska with three different skins as soon as you enter the door, hahaha! There are actually three colors! The environment is so beautiful. Every staff member is super enthusiastic and considerate. The breakfast is very rich and the daily fruits are super sweet. As soon as you wake up and open your eyes, you will see the most beautiful scenery of Shangri-La~ Give it a 1000 points! I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Shangri-La~

Absolutely incredible experience - it’s more than just a hotel with stunning views of the grassland and mountains! Pros - - the hotel is home to many adorable animals, which you can give free pets and even feed. Even if you don’t particularly enjoy animals, they surely liven the place and provide the perfect backdrop for your grassland landscape pic - the room was well furnished with marshall speakers, apelles supply, Dyson hairdryer, humidifier, room heater, and an oxygen generator and tube. It was also impeccably clean even for someone with abit of OCD. I must say the facilities surpassed most of the 5-star hotels I’ve stayed in. - there’s a free ******* clothing photography experience which you can opt for - convenient location which is about a 10-minute drive away from the city and a 5-minute drive away from the nearest horse-riding park - and most importantly what completes this experience was the butlers. The service was top notch! They were extremely attentive, friendly, and accommodating. From the welcome snacks to the tour of the room, the friendly advice to prevent altitude sickness, the shuttle to horse-riding park, tweaking menu to suit dietary needs, serving warm milk at night, laundry service, and satisfying my curiosity by sharing about the city and local culture. They definitely went above and beyond to make the guests feel welcomed and ensure they have a great time. Thank you to all of you again! Cons - absolutely nothing. I hardly go at lengths to recommend a hotel as much as this but this is definitely a place one should visit. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

The eldest brother drove to the airport early in the morning to arrange a pick-up. The service was very considerate and he also gave a lot of travel advice. The view from the room was really first-class. When I opened the curtains in the morning, I felt integrated with nature. The overall facilities were very new and complete, and the whole room provided heating and oxygen, so there was no need to worry about altitude sickness. Although the breakfast was simple, you could eat rice noodles. Overall, it was really a five-star service. The eldest brother also helped to see you off. The hotel dog was also smart and cute and would accompany you to visit the grassland! Except that it was not particularly convenient to travel, it was really recommended if you wanted to be isolated from the world. I would come back again in winter to see the snow!
