Location is good and easy to find. Walkable distance to metro station and shopping centre.

Good location, hotel room view is not good, very close to the residential car park, they only have 5 floors, the room and toilet is too dark, the toilet has a big window, when you close the curtain - it covers the mirror 🤪

The room had no windows, some cigarette smoke smell from other rooms when you turn on ventilation, good projector tv with free movies to choose from

The Icon Lab Aiken Hotel is conveniently located in the Nanshan district of Shenzhen. It is within a few minutes walking distance of the large MIXC mall, which in itself is able to occupy you for a whole day & night. Plenty of shops, restaurants, exhibitions, an ice skating rink, coffee shops, and other larger and smaller facilities there, a great bakery, and a very nice al-fresco setting where you can - weather permitting - eat outside at the ample number of terraces. In the weekends it gets very busy, so do make a reservation if you can, or simply come early (5:00 - 5:30 pm) to ensure you don't have to wait in line or won't even be able to get a seat at all. The hotel is simple, clean, has nice sized rooms. Note that some rooms don't have windows, such as the Courtyard rooms (but no courtyard to look at, only a blind wall right outside your 'balcony'). The reservation is clear about that, so no complaint. Breakfast is available and has a basic choice of warm or cold food at a very reasonable price. The only negative comment is that noise from other rooms was very audible. Hence if your are sensitive to a crying baby or a couple having a louder discussion, you should be aware. The overall service is friendly. Good stay.

Location of the hotel is good, just a short distance walk to the Wan Xiang Tian Di Mall. The hotel is part of a commercial building complex, caused the Didi driver some difficulties to find its’ pick up/drop off point. Room is very modern and clean. Service staffs were generally efficient but not as warm as those in 2rd/3rd tier cities. No chance to use the facility but believe it should be good. Generally it is a good property for short stay. 

This hotel is new but the rooms have no windows. There were fake sliding window with no sunlight. It is so depressing to stay in a dark room like this

For the price the location is excellent. The room was without a window which was not a problem. It was quite a cosy room. The breakfast restaurant was not a relaxed place and quite scruffy, the food was only average. The biggest problem was the lack of soundproofing for the bathrooms. I could hear EVERYTHING from a nearby bathroom, and the noise of nearby showers was also too much.

The room is clean, tidy and new. Hotel location is great with shopping mall and Metro station within 5 mins walking distance. There is a McDonald and a coffee shop at the ground floor. Definitely value for price.

It's not really well mentioned that are rooms without window. all the rest is perfect

Clean and spacious rooms. Unfortunately you need to pay to watch a lot of the TV programmes.

The room has no window, although it was stated in the website which I did overlook. I have never been to a hotel without a window. The feeling is terrible dark especially when in the morning you had to refresh after sleep. I suggested that the advertisement on the website should have the provision “no Window” highlighted and for customers reference and attention. Besides the toilet shower is badly designed which the opening of the glass door inward to the side of the shower head will bump into the shower head. The shower head also split water out on side causing all the stuff you put outside on the wash basin wet. Terrible. Although the staff there are very nice and helpful, but the hotel room is really not fit if you are expecting a good journey experience, the price is not really so cheap to let the customer have such low standard of room.

The hotel is comfy and staff are friendly and helpful. The good thing is I stay at the laundry floor washing and drying clothes is very easy task.

Great location, you can go 8 minute walk to the Nowhere museum (lots of great restaruants and bars) through the mall. Lucky caffe, convenient store and Mcdonalds are next to the hotel.
