Ski in ski out hotel with 3 restaurants, swimming pool, onsen, and grocery convenient store. It's traditional. Overall rooms are large and clean.

if you plan to ski at madarao kogen, this is the hotel to stay in. hotel offers good discounts for chair lift tickets. Room are a little old but of decent size and clean. its has a public hotspring bath which also has a small cold pool. We had dinner at the soba / tempura restaurant. food was good and staff v friendly. Breakfast was great w good view. the only compliant is there is only 1 coffee machine and might need to queue up for it.

Nice Ski Trip - we enjoyed our stay even though we need to change our rooms three times for the slip view.

Super convenient, right at ski slope and has all the necessary facilities for skiers. Will defo be back!

Hotel Tangram provides a unforgettable experience with its exotic location next to a ski/snowboard facility, to have supreme services and the thing. I remember most except the skiing part is the onsen, the onsen provides a lovely arrange of tubs various sizes which consume of eg: cold bath tubs indoor warm tubs and an outdoor tub especially if you are lucky there might be snow raining in to the tub and you can witness a special surpirse. overall I believe coming here is a good choice and can guaranteer you a good stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean and tidy, providing a comfortable environment. The shower was excellent, which was particularly important during the winter season. The staff at the check-in counter were extremely helpful and friendly. Although I didn't participate in skiing, I was impressed by the resort's wide range of activities that allowed guests to explore the area. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Beautiful place with great services. But food and drinks options are limited.

Ski in and out resort!

Stayed for 4 nights, skiing for 3 days was just right (tangram + madarao). Booked a room with ski tickets and breakfast and dinner included, which was a good deal. The room was large and clean, the hotel offers hot springs, ski in ski out. The hotel ski resort can ski across the Banwei Plateau, which is also fun. The buffet selection is good, and I am very satisfied with everything. In addition, you can go to the top of the mountain to see Lake Nojiri and enjoy coffee. Great.

You can ski in and out, which is very convenient. There is breakfast, a convenience store and a ski equipment store. You can take a hot spring bath after skiing. It is also very convenient to rent snowboards and ski equipment. There are also discounts on ski lift tickets when you stay at the hotel

The facility is quite old, but I felt it was relatively clean. However, there was so much dust on the shelves, window frames, table, microwave, electric kettle, and around the cups in the room that you could leave finger marks. Although it was a tatami room, everything was dusty, including the futon. I wiped down the areas I used myself and removed a lot of large clumps of dust. It felt like it had been a few days since the last cleaning, and I regret not borrowing cleaning supplies and cleaning myself, which would have made me feel more at ease. Skin care amenities are only available in the bath area, and while yukata are provided in the rooms, they are not permitted in the dining area, so I should have brought my own loungewear. Staff attitudes also vary greatly from person to person, and I was more often disappointed when I asked a question this time. The views of Lake Nojiri and other areas from above were spectacular.

We stayed with our pets, and felt the hotel was very considerate and comfortable everywhere. If I could be greedy, I would have liked to have been able to dine with pets at the hotel's restaurants, even if it was only for limited times and locations. I was also grateful for the dog run and the abundance of grass. We were able to take our pets for a long walk, which was very satisfying.

The facilities are a bit old. The restaurant's one-night stay and two meals are OK, but basically the food is almost the same every day. If you stay for a few more days, it is better to consider other dining options. The service is very good and skiing is very convenient.

The lady at the check-in counter was the only one who was polite on the first day. The employees in the next few days all had black faces.
