Xiahe Hotels with Airport Shuttle

"I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend staying here. The hotel is right next to the entrance of the monastery and most rooms have a nice view of the lively main street and the mountains behind. The rooms also have built-in heating so the room is not cold during the colder months. The bed is very comfortable. Staff doesn’t always speak English but they are very friendly. The hotel is a little bit outdated, but I think it is one of the best places to stay in Xiahe because of the location and it offers everything you need."

"The rooms are well equipped and the room service and restaurant service are satisfactory. Two problems: First, the room temperature was too high, about 30 degrees, and there was no temperature control. I reported this to the hotel, and they said that the heating temperature in Xiahe is always that high and the hotel cannot control it. We opened the windows and drew the curtains, but didn't dare turn on the lights because there was a hotel across the street. We couldn't fall asleep in bed at all. It felt like we were in a scorching hot room with no ventilation or air conditioning. It was minus 14 degrees outside, but it was suffocatingly hot inside! We, an elder who was almost 70 years old, had to travel the next day, so we didn't sleep the whole night and just endured the scorching heat."

"The restaurant on the second floor or the third floor is under renovation. There are workers transporting materials in and out of the hotel, so it is a bit dirty. The breakfast room is on the first floor. It is very simple. The beef noodles have not eaten a piece of beef for two days... The front desk staff in and out of the lobby have been chasing dramas on the mobile phone."

"The dorm was very clean and equipped with a kettle, which was nice. I was the only guest during my stay. As mentioned in the other reviews, the dorm is located in the basement and you have to walk a bit to reach the toilet. The „shower“ is located across the front desk. It’s a small room where the hotel is storing their cleaning equipment, so showering there is a quite dirty and unpleasant experience. As there are so many dorms in the basement (I would guess 50+ beds), I wonder how they would handle the situation if the hotel is fully booked. Overall I would recommend staying there for one night, if you are not picky."

"We are a family of three generations of five people traveling and living in a large triple room. Environment:  is a newly opened homestay this year. The facilities of the whole homestay are very new, with good lighting and a lot of space. Hygiene: It is operated by the boss and his wife, and the hygiene is also cleaned by themselves. We lived for two days and saw that the proprietress had been cleaning the hygiene inside and outside. There are also many green plants in the yard. The bathroom is large and smart toilet. The breakfast boss will cook fresh beef soup for Tibetan noodles. He will also share Tibetan dumplings to taste first. Service: The boss and his wife are local Tibetan compatriots, very enthusiastic, take the initiative to carry luggage, chat, and eat fruit. They will also share local play guides, and share their fresh beef and mutton to eat with everyone. The guests have the needs and meet everyone as much as possible. For example, someone needs to add more quilts, and my mother wants to cook medicine, and she is very enthusiastic to help. It is a typical Tibetan house courtyard, with strong walls, quiet and comfortable living. It is very suitable for a family of young and old, or friends, sitting around on the big table in the yard, chatting, eating and drinking tea. Less than ten minutes walk from Labrang Temple. There are many choices for eating nearby."

"The location is relatively easy to find, parking is a bit tight, but the store will reserve a parking space and help with luggage. The hotel's door is stylish, there is a gift Hada ceremony at the door, and yogurt is also delivered, which is especially delicious. The courtyard decoration on the first floor is clean and elegant. The room is the same as the promotional map, the three beds are reasonably laid out, and there is a sofa coffee table for eating. Free large buckets of mineral water and 2 bottles of bottled water, as well as oxygen bottles. Hotel breakfast may be local characteristics, a bit simple. The bathroom is well decorated, the bath towels are clean and the slippers are strong. 3 small opinions: 1. Can the shower room install a shelf for bath towels and change clothes? 2. Can the shower room add floor mats or bath slippers, otherwise the ground is too slippery, and the floor drain is just in the middle, which is not very comfortable. 3, the living room independent bed around no power, in the bed brush mobile phone charging is not convenient."
